I need extra cushioning in my orthopedic shoes. Usually I buy special insoles at New Balance, that cost about $39. But after a few months all the cushioning is gone. Would love to have recommendations from other Disney people for what has worked for you. TIA!

My DS and DH get their inserts here at Marathon Sports. They do a whole analysis of your feet, and have really helped them. If you’re not nearby, you could call them to ask what brand of inserts they use. I think they also might have a program for remote customers, but check; or there could be other stores like this in different areas if you look around. They have you stand in bare feet in some sort of computer analyzing machine that tells them where the pressure points and that sort of thing are on your feet so you get custom inserts based on your own individual anatomy.

There is no best. Everyone is different. It would be like asking what the best bed is. My mattress is a step up from sleeping on the floor my mother would say. Other people like sinking down to the floor wrapped up in a fluffy mattress.

I highly suggest you got to a shoe store that offers an analysis of your gait and your foot structure. They will suggest the best shoe and insert if needed.

Look for a running store in your area. They will be able to do this for you.
