Best Insider Tips

Okay, my girlfriend and I are going to WDW for a very special vacation on October 28-31. We're going to the Not So Scary event on Friday and plan on hitting all four of the parks. We're staying at AKL. I was hoping some of you seasoned veterans could help me out with some of your best insider tips--those really cool things that you would only know about if you had done everything there is to do at Disney and wanted to really impress someone. Extra points for creativity. If you know of any websites that give great insider advice, I'll take that too.

Some specific tips I'm looking for:
1. Best place to watch fireworks in MK where I don't have to camp out?
2. Where/how to start the day at EPCOT?
3. Where/how to start the day at AK?
4. What's the best room at AKL?
5. Is the Fantasmic dining arrangement worth it?
6. Do you get your money's worth in the meal plans?
