Best **** Hotel

I am assuming you mean non-WDW resorts.

Gaylord.

although the Ritz-Carlton is on the list too - it is more expensive - so is JW Marriott.

Isn't the Peabody on I-Drive also a 4 star?

HeatherC

yes - so is the Renaissance Hotel at Sw. the Hyatt Grand Cypress - over close to WDW.

Hyatt Grand Cypress is very nice and very close to Disney

Peabody is another favorite of ours. A bit far out from Disney but central to WDW, Universal.

Is Marriott Orlando World Center a 4 **** ? We stayed there many years ago. I remember it to be very nice.

yes the world center is a 4 star - but with the work going on now - I would stay somewhere else.

I don't have an opinion ......I am just laughing because at first I thought you had tried to post a censored 4-letter word, and I couldn't imagine what it would be!! :rotfl2:

Don't mind me, carry on ....

We love the Hyatt Grand Cypres and after our first time there ten years ago there has been no place else for us. The RC floor is wonderful. There is so much to do on the property you may not want to leave. The pitch n' putt, driving range, bikes surrey bikes, basketball, tennis, raquet ball and non motorized boats are all included.

We've enjoyed a number of stays at the Swan with the government discount. We thought it was well worth the money, and the location was excellent, if you plan on doing Disney a lot.

D-sis is a very light sleeper and had trouble sleeping at Gaylord Palms, as her room looked towards the atrium, and the sound from below carried up. Otherwise it was very nice.

Hyatt
Ritz
JW Marriott...

(The last two may be more then four star, but are OUTSTANDING hotels)
