Best hotel to stay in?

Which is the best hotel to stay in that is closest to the Universal Orlando Resort?

My wife has to go back to the hotel every 3-4 hours to do her pumping for her breastmilk. I was thinking that if we go, I wanted to stay at one of the better hotels that isn't too far.

Looking at the Resort Map, it looks like all 3 are close....but I wasn't sure which ones are the most convenient to stay at.

Also....I read that there is a Nickelodeon themed hotel in Orlando that is close to Universal. Has anyone stayed there before?

I haven't stayed onsite yet and this year we are staying at RPR and the resorts hotel are all close and are anywhere from 7 to 10 min walk and the Nickelodeon hotel is not close to Universal and if not mistaking is pretty far away and the only other hotel I have stayed close to Universal was the doubletree at the entrance to Universal on Major Blvd and its 10 mins away.

The Hard Rock Hotel is the closest to Universal Studios and the Royal Pacific Resort is the closest to Islands of Adventure.

How far is it?

The Hard Rock Hotel is the closest of the three on-site hotels. It has the shortest walk/water taxi distance.

The Nick Hotel is located closer to Disney than Universal, IIRC. I want to say it's 5-10 mins from Disney and 15-20 from Universal.

I would recommend the RPR if your on a bit of a budget, its the most reasonably priced, but as someone mentioned Hardrock is the closests. If you have to stay off site, there is a Holiday Inn that's very decent on International Drive, that is only about a 5 minute drive, depending upon traffic (Its only a few miles from the property).

We recommend RPR also for the above reasons.If you do stay offsite you got to factor in the time it takes just to get to your vehicle in the parking garage!!
