Best hotel near Sanford

Has anyone stayed at a clean, not too expensive hotel near Sanford airport, with a pool?

We´ll bearriving around dinner time after an 8-9 hour flight and need a place to stay for 1 night before driving down to the Keys. It would be great if the kids could take a swim in the morning before we leave.

There really aren't a lot of choices right at the airport (being just a regional hub for Orlando International).

However, there's a Holiday Inn Express on 17-92 that's just a few miles away. They've got a pool!

As a suggestion, look for a hotel in Lake Mary, Sanford's neighbor, instead of Sanford. It's very close to the airport and a much, much, much nicer area.

Lake Mary Boulevard intersects both 17-92 and I4, so access is easy.

There are lots of nice hotels on Greenwood Boulevard, which intersects LMB. La Quinta, Candlewood Suites and Homestead are a few. You should be able to find a really nice room, no matter what your budget is.
