Best Hotel in Tallahassee?

We're driving to Orlando this December and will spend the night in Tallahassee. Anyone have a suggestion for the nicest hotel to stay at? We want to stay somewhere very nice & are not bargain hunting. After a very long drive I'll be looking for comfort.

Very nice and not bargain hunting the Hotel Duval is the best hotel in Tallahassee. The Governor's Inn boutique hotel is nice as well, but more quaint while Duval is sheek luxury. Those are the only two 4-stars in town. Aloft is a nice contemporary 3 star hotel.

I looked at Trip Advisor reviews online, and Aloft seemed the nicest of the three. I know to take individual reviews with a grain of salt, but Hotel Duval & Governor's Inn both had several scathing reviews about run-down conditions & cleanliness, posted within the last year.

I'm surprised about Duval. Governors Inn I could see its very old but "upscale". Aloft is definitely the newest.
