What is the best Hotel for a 3yr old boy? There will be three of us including the 3yr old. Any hotel have rooms or a pool with a theme? And it also needs to be close to DisneyWorld.

Thanks:bounce:

We found that we truly enjoyed the Courtyard by Marriott in Marriott Village....Extremely close to Downtown Disney (The downtown hotels were across the road -- I-4?)...the entrance to Downtown Disney was about 2 minutes away.

It was a really nice complex with a Fairfield Inn, Springhill Suites and the Courtyard. We found the pool a great feature as we had our 3 y.o. too and the pool is perfect. It is half indoor and half outdoor and separated by a waterfall. The outdoor portion is zero entry with fountains spraying water....there is also a childrens fountain area where there is water spraying up and they can play.....the indoor half of the pool is all "deep". There is an indoor and an outdoor hot tub. It is not themed, but always quiet and relaxing.

Another plus to this complex is that there is a little food court that has a few selections such as an ice cream shop and a Pizza Hut.

We had a great room with poolview.....included a bed, sofa, chair, desk, refrig, and a lot of drawer space. It was also roomy enough for our little one to move around.

Hope this helps!

When are you going? do you have a specific budget in mind? Just wondering because with a 3 year old it is easier to stay onsite. I'm a big offsite fan, but if it were just 3 of us, I'd look into getting deal at one of the All stars. The rooms are smallish, but the theming is fun for little ones. The bus transportation makes it easy to get around.

Availability of code deals depends on when you are going. they often are only good at all star music or sports, not movies.

If you want to spend more $$, people here have been mostly happy with the Holiday Inn Family Suites. It's close to Disney. The rooms have a fridge & microwave. Breakfast is included. You'd still need to have a car, as you would with most offsite places.

hope that helps a little!

Another vote for Holiday Inn Family Suites. It is extremely close to the entrance to Disney. We were there when my oldest was three, two years ago, and he still talks about it. The whole hotel has a train theme. They have a little train that takes the kids on a ride around the hotel. The have a model train in the lobby. We actually had to pull him away from that to go to Disney. We stayed in a train themed suite, but they have many other themes as well. There are two bedrooms in each suite. The master has a door that locks, but the kid area does not, just a curtain. That is nice, because you do not have to worry about the child locking the door. There is a small living area with a sofa and chair and table and chairs. There is a refridgerator and microwave. There is a full buffet breakfast every morning. It is not gourmet, but pretty good. It has something for everyone. Hot foods, cereals, muffins, bagles, milk, juice. We actually filled up sippy cups and took them with us. You can even bring breakfast back to your room in take out containers. The pool area is very nice with the zero-depth entry and fountains and things. There is putt putt there and a playground with tunnels and stuff like Mcdonald's next to a big baby pool that is gated shut. I would not reccomend the bus service to the parks, though. It is best to have your own car.
