Best hotel closest to Disney's Animal Kingdom with best shuttle service?

We are wanting to take our daughters to Animal Kingdom before it gets too hot and since we're planning last minute and I'm looking for the cheapest route to take. Does anyone have any suggestions on a great hotel with good complimentary shuttle service but at a decent price? Thanks in advance!

We stayed at the Red Lion a few weeks ago. We got it for about $60 a night and it's 3.5 miles from AK. They didn't have a shuttle, but I have yet to see anyone talk positive about a hotel shuttle. I would use Uber. Then its on your time.

We stayed at an off-site hotel with a shuttle service once and it was terrible. We ended up renting a car it was so bad. Other than Bonnet Creek, I've never seen anyone come back and say what great shuttle service they had from an off-site hotel.

I don't think anything off site will have decent shuttle service either. Car, uber, taxi will probably be best if off site. Have you looked into a Disney value resort? With free transportation and no parking fees, it might equal out price wise. Not sure when you're going, AK might be very crowded this summer with the new land opening. Also, be aware with Avatar opening at the end of May, utilizing emh as a Disney onsite guest might be worth the trouble( if you can time it right). I hope it works out for you, good luck!

Best western Disney springs. Excellent shuttle service, walk to Disney springs, see the magic kingdom fireworks, Disney store in lobby. Pool is ok, restaurant is ok but you can walk to Disney springs
