Best hotel beach in nassau for relaxind day???

I just want to take a taxi to a hotel in Nassau and use the pool and beach and then get back on the ship. Where is the best place to go. I was just viewing the chat boards for the Bahamas at www.cruisecritic.com and there were many posts for various hotels that you can just walk in and use the facilities. Has anyone done this? Raddison, Marriott, etc.
