Where is the best place to grab an EXCELLENT hot dog in WDW? I'm not talking the kiddie kind, folks. I'm talking yummy adult size dog, with all the fixins! :goodvibes I don't hear about this classic favorite here on the DIS and I've really been wondering where I could find one for lunch one day.

Also, where's the best place to find a good slice of NY style pizza?

For my money, the best hot dog in WDW is at Casey's in the MK.

For good New York style pizza...? Well, WDW is not known for great pizza, unfortunately...I would eat up at your local favorite eatery before leaving.. :rotfl:

I vote for Casey's, too. Head toward Cinderella's castle on Main Street, in the Magic Kingdom, at the end of the block, on the left, you will find Casey's. You can sit inside on the bleachers and watch classic cartoons or sit outside under red and white stripped umbrellas. :sunny:

Another vote for Casey's, a tradition for my family........just love the hot dogs and the atmosphere.

I would say Casey's in the MK.. that is what they are known for....I have not had a hot dog anywhere else in WDW...

Although Casey's has a great hot dog, the absolute best hot dog is the footlong hot dog at ESPN Club! It is amazing! You can omit the chilli and cheese on it if you would like, but quite honestly I've never been able to finish it.

Home Run Hot Dog - a full 1/2 pound on a freshly baked bun with chili, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped onion; served with fries $9.19

I know it's a bit expensive, but there is a reason the price is that high. It's that good!

Most definitely Casey's, from my experience. Although I'm intrigued by the ESPN hot dog mentioned above. I'll have to give that one a try in 6 weeks.

Here's another vote for Casey's. Really good food, fast. There is a small sitting area to the side of the restaurant, plus more seating outside. I like grabbing a hot dog & fries and plant myself somewhere along Main Street USA to wait for the afternoon or evening parade.

Yeah, I was afraid of that! I love pizza, but I'm quite picky about it.

Thanks for all the replies, btw! I was just thinking about quick bites to eat around the world for lunch...and a quick hot dog or slice of pizza is always a favorite for us! We'll have to try Casey's...and well, the ESPN dog sounds so good I might have to think about going there as well! I know that DBF would enjoy the atmosphere! :thumbsup2

I am a huge hot dog fan myself, and I asked this question a few months ago. Casey's was repeatedly mentioned, as it has been here. I have had hot dogs at Caseys, and while they are ok, definitely I wouldn't call them great :confused3 I think what makes them better is the view of the Magic Kingdom!! I have heard great things about the hot dog at the ESPN Cafe, and at the All-Stars Cafe. Several people also mentioned one you can get from a cart on the Boardwalk?? Wondering- has anyone tried the hot dog at Beaches and Cream??

The cart on the Boardwalk has excellent hot dogs and onion rings... Caseys has the extra long hot dogs which are very good and a little bit milder than the ones at the Boardwalk...the fixins are better at Caseys. Caseys does not have onion rings which is too bad......

I love the hotdogs at Caseys- and cheese fries..mmm

My boyfriend likes the chili dogs they sell at the water parks.

Love the pizza from the take out window on the Boardwalk, I think it is Spoodles? We stumbled across it last Oct and loved it so much we went back in Dec....now a must to on every trip

Yes, the one at ESPN club is huge! DS, typical college-aged boy with hollow leg when he eats, couldn't finish it. But he loved it.

Hands down Caseys is the best for hotdogs!

As for the pizza I would steer clear especially if you are looking for good NY Style pizza! :sad2:

Have fun! :joker:
