Best holiday scene for pictures?

We are leaving for Disney this weekend and am taking my girls Christmas sweaters to have our Christmas card pictures made from this year, but I was wondering where is the best Christmas scene at Disney? It really doesn't matter if it is a tree or just decorations, but I would like something Disney related so that our friends and family know that they were taken at Disney. I also don't mind if it is at a resort. All I want is a good background to take a few pictures. Those of you Disney Christmas experts I need your help.

What a great question! I'm leaving next Friday and this is a wonderful idea! Sorry I don't have an answer for you, but I just had to say "thanks" for posting this! :)

There's a really cute mock up from Narnia in MGM now, (I got back on Sunday) its all snowy, right up on Mickey Avenue, near one mans dream. That would be lovely!

We have the prettiest picture of my DH and niece at the Narnia scene mentioned above. I took it a little to the left to get the lampost in, instead of centered it. I wish I'd have had one of DH and myself there. I'd be tempted to use it for Christmas cards.

I don't know what kind of picture it takes, but there's a Christmas scene thing at DD, right on the way to the bus stop at the Marketplace, kind of behind the Christmas shop and I think "Goofy's Candy Store"??? Anyway, I saw it when I got off the bus there. It's a cute winter scene with Goofy, I think it's Goofy anyway. I made a mental note to go back for a picture, and then we never ended up getting back there.

We used two from last year. The first was from dinner at LTT w/Minnie on the night we attended MVMCP and we all had on red - I had on the Minnie holiday ears - my boyfriend had on a tshirt w/Mickey dressed as Santa and my parents had on red shirts. The second is all us in Epcot at the American Adventure with Mr. and Mrs. Clause - with my mom (in her 70's) sitting on Santas lap.

How about a photo with the castle in the background, nothing screams Disney more to me! If you go to the rose garden, you can get a good shot of the Castle in the background with out alot of crowd. I would think there are Holiday decorations that would also be in the shot.

I am also planning on doing this next year for our cards. I want to upload the pics to snapfish or winkflash while I am there so I have them by the time I get home.

Does anyone know if they have the photo area where you get your photos at MVMCP set up all day? or is it closed while it is not supervised?

We did the DD photo a few years ago. It turned out great! That year there were three characters and we have three kids. Each kid was posing by a character. I took pictures in the lobbies of different hotels, but the trees are so big that either the kids were too small or if you do a close-up of the kids, the tree looks wrong.

There also is a sled in MGM that works well

Based on what I saw on the Food Network special last night, a picture in front of the giant gingerbread house in the lobby of the Grand Floridian would be very cute!

HAVE FUN!

To get the tree better in your photo's, stand far enough away and low enough to the ground to get the tree and put your kids about 3 feet in front of you, not in front of the tree. Your kids should come in clear and the tree will be a little bit blurry but to fix that you can set your camera to landscape mode and fill flash or adjust the camera yourself if you ahve an SLR.
