I apologize in advance if this isn't the right thread to post this on!

My boyfriend and I are going to WDW over halloween weekend! Typically, we pin trade (which we will definitely still do) but I also wanted to try something new! We are excited to collect pressed pennies!

Do you and your families do this? Is there any trick to the trade? Any advice on where machines are located, the best machines and your favorite pressed penny?

I would love to hear any and all tips/advice!

thank you :tink:

I made myself a list of all the pennies we'd collected, to help avoid (too many) duplicates. (Never mind that I lost it when I got a new phone--grr.)

Many people (including us) find a Mini M&M container useful for keeping quarters and pennies (stack quarter, quarter, penny, repeat, and add a cotton ball to keep them from rattling) on hand for pressing.

I'd also recommend picking up a book to keep them in--they have them for about $6 at most every gift shop cash register.

We have a couple hundred now. We're ready to do some serious hunting on our November trip :) Have fun!!

Definitely look at the list & plan accordingly. Some are really tucked away so you may miss them if you aren't looking for it. I do like the gift shop level at the contemporary resort. There's about 4-5 right in a row ( penny & quarters).

Play the Agent P world showcase adventure. I think it is the France quests.
Also, Cirque du Soliel used to have some as well.
If you really want tough to find, take a Disney Cruise. The terminal has some exclusives as well! happy hunting!
