Hi guys.

We have to check in for our flight at 5.30am so I think we'll stay at Heathrow the night before we fly.

Which is the best value option for two of us? Would be great if there is a shuttle to the terminal or something aswell.

We've stayed at Yotel in a singel before, but would go for a double in future, and £80 seems a little steep.

Thanks in advance!

We are staying at the Marriott tonight for £98 including 15 nights parking, most weekday stays Sun-Thur are well over £120 just for the room, weekend is cheaper. Also the hotels nearby do run on a shuttle route and it is £4 per person each way.

Claire ;)

We've stayed in lots of them and the nicest by far is the Sheraton Skyline and only 1/2 mile from T3. I've got it booked for the night before a Hong Kong flight next March - £89.

Sheraton have the VERY best beds ever.

Stayed at the Jurys Inn Heathrow at the end of April and it was very good. We paid £75 for the night and used Purple Parking to park for 3 weeks.
I would definately recommend the Jurys Inn.
Very quiet rooms and comfortable beds. Good service at check-in and nice bar and restaurant area if you need it.

Before you book, I'd double check what shuttle buses serve the hotels and check when they run.

We also looked to stay at a Heathrow hotel for a similarily early check in once, only to find that the bus service didn't even start picking up guests until 6am. Also it had to visit lots of other hotels after us and as we were flying out from Terminal 3 (typically the last one for drop offs), we worked out there was a chance we wouldn't get to the airport much before 7am - not much use as that was only about half an hour before our flight was set to depart!

I have to say, if you're not looking for like a mjor luxury all the frills jobby. The Heathrow "Premier Inn" is really nice for what you pay... Definitely their flag-ship property!!!

Hi,
what terminal are you flying from? We were flying from Terminal 4 and found out that the Heathrow hopper bus only drops off at terminals 1 2 and 3 and then you have to get a train. This doesnt matter much if you are in a couple but we had 2 small children 4 suitcases and 2 pushchairs.
In the end we booked on site parking at terminal 4. (£88.00) If you book in plenty of time you can get a really good deal at Heathrowairport.com We needed to be up at 5.30am as well and just needed somewhere to lay our heads so we booked the Travel Lodge Heathrow Central for £19.00!
I was very pleasantly surprised. Apart from the slow check in staff everything else was great. Our rooms looked like they have been recently renovated or maybe its just a fairly new hotel. The rooms were very modern inside with a flat screen tv and crisp white bedding. They also had very good windows so you could not hear the aircraft noise!
I was also surprised to find a large restaurant and bar area and although we did not order anything, it looked really nice!!
It was only about 10-15 minutes maximum to the car park from the hotel so we found the whole experience stress free.
Hope this helps!

We're terminal 4 and I did notice about the Hoppa not stopping there!

The jury's inn says it's only a 4 minute walk from the underground, but I don't know if I fancy that at 5am?

I had a look at the T5 travelodge, £29, I wonder how much a cab is from there?

We prefer the Sheraton Skyline, stayed there a few times now. In April I got it for £44 for DD and I the night before we flew to New York, fantastic bargain!

Have also stayed at the Crowne Plaza and the Park Inn - nice enough too. There is a pub opposite the Park Inn which serves fab food at bargain prices!

The Sheraton has a beautiful pool area, like a tropical lagoon, so take your cossies if you stay there:thumbsup2

The Hoppa Buses run every 15 mins from all the above hotels - good service and like Claire says only £4pp. Only takes 10mins.
