Heading to Disney soon and I’m an ice cream fanatic!!! I’m not fond of soft serve, so I’m looking for everyone’s best HAND DIPPED ice cream…AND GO….!!!!!!

There are many great options at WDW, these are just the first 2 that come to mind.

If you go on the WDW website and search 'ice cream' all the options and corresponding menus will be displayed.

L'Artisan Glaces in the France section of Epcot has my vote.

You’re not likely to find amazing ice cream at Disney World, except maybe at L’Artisan des Glaces in EPCOT. And don’t bother trying to sell me on Salt and Straw—it’s just not that good. Everywhere else is pretty average, especially Beaches and Cream, which is way overrated. None of the ice cream is terrible, but definitely nothing special.

IMO the best ice cream on property is at The fountain(Dolphin Hotel).

There are decent places for ice cream, but very few are actually home made, it's mostly from large companies. It used to be Edy's at Disney, I think it still is. As others have mentioned, the ice cream in the France pavilion at Epcot is hand made, one of the few places. Salt and Straw is their own brand, and it's, well, interesting. I know you said you don't like soft serve, but there's nothing like a cold Dole Whip at the MK on a hot day! Or even a not so hot day!

Overall I find the ice cream to be disappointing. It is mostly mass produced cheap grocery store type ice cream. L’Artisian and Salt and Straw are probably the 2 best options.

Do you want to consider all brands of Hand scooped Ice Cream or are you really wanting specific brands or ice cream that is only made in small batches with custom Flavors?

The I would vote vote for the Fountain at the Dolphin resort, 1st floor right off the causeway from the boat dock on Crescent lake by Epcot.

Have you tried Vivoli il Gelato at Disney Springs? I LOVE gelato!

I'd say Salt & Straw is the best, but I like wild flavors.
