Best grocery store??

Which is the better grocery store to stop at on the way from MCO to Disney? Albertson's or Publix? Our limo driver gave us a choice, but I don't really know what the difference is. Does one have more of a selection? Is one cheaper than the other? Are they both on the direct route from MCO to Disney or is one more out of the way than the other (costing us precious time)?

Albertson's...because you can prefax your order, and they will have it "picked and Packed" by the time you arrive...makes it great for a 30minute grocery stop!!

We always go to Publix. We find the prices compare to our local stores at home. Which ever your choose, don't go to Goodlings...it is definitely the tourist grocery store because the prices are sky high. We always have a car, so we zip over to the Publix pass the AKL/maingate.

If you want to make a grocery stop on the way to your hotel from the airport, a good thing to know is that the Albertson's supermarket at 12981 S. Orange Blossom Trail (Orange Blossom Trail exit from SR 417) will allow you to fax a list to them at (407) 857-0132. They will have your order packed and ready to pick up! You can call them at (407) 857-5666. Give name, phone, arrival time 24-48 hours in advance.

We tried this our last trip in December...it was a great. The store is right off the highway. It was quick & easy.
