We used Garden Grocer last Fall, and had a problem with delivery to our room at CSR. Bell Services would not allow them beyond the Lobby; then neither the driver nor Bell Services called to inform us of the delivery. We spoke with Brian Coleman manager, and he explained they were short-staffed. Our order was to be delivered between 6-8pm, but did not arrive until 10pm. We originally made arrangements to pay cash on delivery, and we have to think that had we not prepaid in full, our experience would have been different and better.
Mr. Coleman responded, "the delivery driver had several orders at that particular time, and several were made in person that evening. at the garden groc. it is our policy that if the client is in the room, we will make every effort to get to the room by discretion of the resort. if not then we will leave the order bell services. in addition, it is our policy that the delivery driver call you to either arrange contact or let you know that you order has been strored with bell services. apparently this was not done, and we apologize for that. if there is a problem with the delivery generally our drivers will try to contact you by cell phone first then if necessary room phone."
We may give Garden Grocer another try this October, but will first clarify procedure with the manager, and pay COD after accepting the delivery.
