We just adopted and will need to board our dog over Spring Break. She's coming with us on the first half of our trip and will need to be boarded while we're at Disney for the second half.

I booked a Vacation Villa for now. Anyone have any opinions one way or the other? TIA

Congrats! Really awesome that you adopted. What kind of dog & how old?
Just a tip: since you are traveling with a new-to-you dog, the dogs recall back to you (if the escape) might not be as bonded yet- Please microchip the dog (might already be chipped from the shelter/rescue) & make sure your current cell phone is listed.
Can I ask, why are you choosing to travel with your new pooch? We've traveled once with our dogs- it was a laid back vacation home on a beach/lake. We didn't have to modify our vacation style to get back to let dogs out etc. I know many people enjoy traveling with their dogs, I'm just curious.

She's 6 months now. The shelter thinks she is a Boston Terrier/ Lab mix- she looks like a black lab but her legs and chest are brindle. She's got her tags with phone numbers,etc. She is not microchipped but we're looking into it.

We decided to take her with us because the first half of our trip we are doing the beach/ocean. She is cuddling with one of us constantly- a total lover/lap dog. I'm not comfortable boarding her here for the whole trip. We are going to dog-friendly beaches so she can come with us. She is also great in the car so I don't think that will be an issue.
