Best for a birthday dinner... Opinions?

We're in the early planning stages for a March surprise b-day trip for DS who will turn 13. He's kind of a foodie and will try most anything. On past trips, he's really enjoyed Boma and CP for breakfast, 'ohaha, le cellier and biergarten for dinner. He also liked CM for dinner a lot.

I'm looking for some place that will really "celebrate" a birthday - but I don't want to emphasize the "little kid" factor (like CM).

Any suggestions?
