We are staying at the dolphin,,,what is yummy and affordable at the boardwalk?

I haved stayed at the Dolphin and found that the restaurant at the Swan is very good. It is a bar type sushi place with karoke.
At the boardwalk you should try the big river brew house for beers and great grilled chicken salads. I would also get some sandwiches and or a pastry at the bakery which is very good.
Spoodles has a great breakfast and the flying fish, although I have never eaten there is supposed to be great.

One spot I would stear clear of is ESPN zone. It was crowded and the wings actually made me throw up after eating them. I found the food to be terrible so did my sister with whom I was eating. We always stay at Boardwalk now but never go to ESPN.

Pizza is also available at the outdoor take out window next to Spoodles. Good luck and enjoy all the great experiences you are soon to have at Disney!

There is lots of yummy... but the affordable part is not so easy.

I think the most affordable places may be ESPN or Big River Grille?

Other places you could consider are.. Cape May Cafe, Spoodles, Captains Grill... or anything inside of epcot.

We ate at both Yachtsman Steakhouse and Flying Fish but both are on the more expensive side, very good though!

We just got back from an 8 day stay at Boardwalk Villas. While there we tried Flying Fish, ESPN Club, Captain's Grille and last trip we also ate at bluezoo.

Flying Fish and bluezoo are fairly expensive but depending on how much you eat (apps, entrees and desserts?), it's reasonable.

Captains Grille was great for breakfast. We did this one morning and did the all you can eat buffet. But they do also have an ala carte menu.

ESPN Club was MUCH better than either my fiance or I expected it to be. In fact, we ate there twice. One afternoon when we weren't in the parks, we stopped in and it was empty. Food was good, large and very reasonably priced. We went in later in the week around 10pm to watch a Cubs playoffs game and it was of course busy.

Where is the Captain's Grill? I'm not familiar with that restaurant.

Spoodles breakfast is really, really good!
