Best flip flops?

I was at a running shoe store this weekend and tried a pair of Oofos on. WHOA. Thinking about ordering a pair and trying them out in the parks next month!

Bought a pair of these, and they are the best flips I've ever owned. Not cheap, bought them a running shoe store but worth every penny. That said, there's no way I'd wear flips in the parks, I need more support for long treks. But as soon as I'm back at the resort it's Oofos. Will def be buying more pairs of these.

What flip flops worked best for walking the world? I have so many pairs of them but I have not one good pair for a week of walking the parks. I don't want to pack a bunch of shoes, 2 pairs...3 at the most. I would like to spend under $50. Thanks!!

These are soooo comfy and I can walk along time in them.. Mickey croc flip flops.. I got them by accident.. I was at Blizzard Beach and my own shoes some how went "missing" so I HAD to buy some at the gift shop to drive back to the resort in....

I have had these 2 years.. till great shape almost from daily wear.. but will try and get another this year.

I wear Rainbow flip flops, and never have blisters. They take forever to break in, but are very comfortable once they have been.

I don't know how they are at Disney, but at home I always wear Crocs flip flops. They're very comfortable.

I have a pair of Crocs Cleos that I will wear in the parks every now and then - I usually rotate w/my Sketchers Go Walks. I can't wear shoes that have the divider between the big and 2nd toes, and I like the Cleos because they have two straps - one across the toes and one across/behind the instep (or between the instep and the ankle) so they are more stable than styles that just go across the toes. And no worries about them falling off on Soarin'

I did the original Teva Mush sandals last trip and they were good. I just recently bought a pair of Crocs Capri V and OMG they are great!!! Inwant to get another pair for or December trip.

I've never heard of these but looking on their website they are really cute. Which ones do you have? I'm looking at the Paden T-strap sandal. Do you buy them direct or have you found any deals on them?

Although I haven't tried them yet they came highly recommended for people who need arch support on the Disneyland side of the boards so I ordered a couple pairs from SoftMoc.com as they had them on sale and offered free shipping and in-store returns. HTH

I don't usually wear flip-flops but after reading similar threads, I decided to try yoga mats. I've been wearing them to work and out and about, to test them out over distances, and they're great. So I'm thinking of making them my park shoes this trip.

But - - I also got them because I thought they'd work well in the rain, esp drying out quickly (something sneakers definitely don't do), with little damage (leather sandals might not recover from being soaked).

Could you warn me about what will go wrong with yoga mats in the rain? Do they get too slippery (on the bottom where you walk or where your foot meets the sole), do they stretch out too much? Thanks for any tips...

The yoga mat part, where your foot sits, can get kind of foamy and slippery and takes longer to dry than a non-yoga mat style. That being said, my daughter wore them in the rain last year and didn't have issues. I didn't like them when they were wet.

I wore Olukai's for a 1/2 day 2 years ago at AK nd they were very comfortable as they have arch support. But I agree with other posters and for the most part do not wear open toed shoes or flip flops at parks. a) too many people step on your feet and b) you have to take them off on Soarin and I don't like being barefoot after a day of dirty park. For parks, check out some of the J41 or jambu styles of shoes as they are meshy, cute with shorts and dry fast and all have arch support.

My doctor and my Dad would probably scold me to no end but I wear old Navy flip flops at night and sneakers during the day lol those cheap $2 flips have never once given me blisters. At times my feet are a little sore but I have survived every summer for the last five years in them *knock on wood*

I do not recommend getting Oofos for park days. I have a pair that I wear around the pool, running errands, etc and they are very comfy so I figured I'd wear them one day at EPCOT. Never again. The thong part rubbed my toes raw to the point they were swollen the next day and walking in different shoes still hurt. So, good for everyday wear, not good for Disney level walking.

I second Vionic with orthaheel, Love them! Hard to go Back to any shoe without support after wearing them. QVC offers some decent deals on these. Whole sizes only so if you are a half size, go down a size. I own a few pairs and they are all great, though I prefer the EVA footbed to the suede one - those get dirty easy and not as comfortable when wet.

I love my Teva Mush II. I have Havinanas as well and no real problems but I only wear the Mush II at the parks (unless it is supposed to rain) and love them. I did just buy a new pair off Amazon and I was not convinced they were authentic so I returned them and I would recommend getting them from Teva directly.

I love my Croc Cleo sandals. Not only are they very comfortable, they dry off in a snap when they get wet.

On a different thread someone recommended Teva Kayenta sandals, and unfortunately, they don't work for me. The front straps don't stretch at all, and I have a scar that one rubs on.

Would the cushioned Reefs work out? Debating whether to bring them.

I personally need more arch support than the cushioned flip flops give me if I'm going to be walking long distances. I wore the Sanuk yoga sling last year thinking they would be really comfortable, but I was in terrible pain the rest of the week!
