We're going back to WDW the 1st week of September and I know it'll be really hot. I usually wear sneakers when we go to the parks, but I was wondering what are the best flip-flops for all that walking? I don't even care how much they cost if they're comfortable for doing that much walking. Any suggestions? I

I like the Teva Mush ones. I bought two pairs for my last trip and they were great.

They're about $25, but you can often find them cheaper online. I bought a few pairs for the kids and I once for around $10 each once, but they only had one or two colors/patterns at that price.

Both my husband and I swear by our Teva Mush flip flops. They are inexpensive, durable and very comfortable.

I love love love my Yellow Box flip flops! Have worn them at DLR and WDW both.

Reef flip-flops! I wore a pair every day on our trip last September (8 days in the parks) and my feet were perfectly fine the entire time :)

I also swear by the Teva Mush. Most comfortable flip flops ever.

If you want a little more foot coverage, Sanuk sandals are also very comfortable.

teva type (I'm not a teva brand guy so I buy knockoffs) for the strap around the ankle. that way you can wear them on a ride without losing them.

keep them all canvas and rubber so they dry quick if they get wet. a lot of them have leather and cloth that will start to reak if wet for long.

keep them just straps. some types have nylon and extra covering. you want as little covering as possible so your feet stay cool.

have lots of adjustments so you can loosen them or adjust them for comfort on any given day.

have a sole that's fitted.

my hundred and two cents.

Teva are comfy, Reefs and fit flops but all AFTER you break them in..I am a flip flop fanatic! Its all I wear normally, I have casuals to fancy to kitten heeled flip flops..

Orhtaheals hands down.

I had a full ankle reconstruction, including cleaning up a tendon and breaking my heal to widen it.

I'm still having pain up the back of my heal, turns out I have even more tendonitis....but the orthaheal brand, including their flip flops are pretty much the only shoes my poor foot will tolerate.

They were designed by a podiatrist and have a super supportive built in arch. Plus the foot bed is long in the front so your toes aren't slipping out the front.

All of the shoe designs have the same foot bed so your feet don't have to adjust to a change when you switch your shoe look up. They dry fast, I showered in them for over a year post surgery.

I have the wave flipflop, the clog and a new slide sandal out this year. I live in them. This is saying alot...I still can't even walk barefoot. Sneakers hurt, I have $500 orthotics that don't do much, but I can go pretty far in orthaheals!

all time best flip flops are OluKai, Hands down... but they are PRICEY (worth it though). Next I'd say Reef or Sanuk, they hold up well. That all said, my wife loves Teva flip flops.

Teva flip flops or similar ones. They must be be broken before your trip though.

For non flip flop sandals Tevas are good too.

I like crocs for comfort, but in the heat they just make my feet so sweaty.

:thumbsup2:love:

I have these too and I LOVE them! Finally, I can wear flip flops because they were made for people who need arch support (Plantar Fasciitis)! So comfy. I have the Tide version.

I've worn them to Disney for a week and to Bermuda on a Bermuda cruise. No blisters and no achy heels. :thumbsup2

One answer! Teva Mush! They are the best flip flops ever, and the only thing I will wear at WDW. :goodvibes

Oh my goodness! Thanks for all the great replies! :worship: I've never heard of any of the brands mentioned except for crocs! I'll be doing some internet shopping tonight!!!

I prefer my classic Crocs for touring but if going for the flip flops, I love Reefs.

Hi
I love the Modi style flip flop by Crocs. They are so comfortable. I have two pairs. Also, the Sanuk Yoga Mat flip flops are really comfortable also. My DD loves the Teva Mush, but they have to much of an arch support for me. I like my shoes without the arch bump in them.

My favorite is the Adidas w/fit foam. I never put anything else on while there :thumbsup2. I always bring atleast 1 spare, you never know when you will need an extra. We are getting an owners locker when we go in September and I intend to put a few pairs in there too ;). I have never tried any of the above mentioned.

Over the years I've worn Merrells, Crocs, Birkenstocks, and Tevas. Tevas are hands down my fav. My feet don't feel beat up at the end of the day and they are light. I wear them every trip now.
