I've been to WDW many times, but it's been about 6 years. This is the 1st trip with my 3 y/o niece.

I was wondering what are some of the better fine dining restaurants in and around WDW?

We'll be dining 7 nights. We'll probably go to Bistro de Paris, Blue Zoo and Shula's.

What are some other places we could go to? We love WDW, but going out for a good meal at a nice restaurant is sometimes like a vacation from WDW also...

We'll probably eat in MK a night also for the fireworks, so I dont expect the same kind of meal that night.

if you have the time, its not FINE FINE dining, but a nice restaurant that itsn't in many places is Seasons 52, its a Darden restaurant (Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Smokey Bones, etc...) but its amazing...it has a seasonal(ish) menu...

The closest one is in Dr. Phillips, on Sand Lake Road

You named the best 3 already. Keep in mind that Bistro does not have a children's menu so your niece will have to order off of the adult menu and the meals are very long there, not sure a 3 year old will want to sit for 2+ hours.

The more child friendly fine dining restaurants are Ca Grill and Narcoosees. In addition to good food, both places have nice views out of the windows to give the younger diners something to keep their interest. Both of these provide a view of the Wishes fireworks at MK if you time your reservations to coincide with the show.

Many people also rave about Jiko's at AKL. We haven't had the opportunity to try it yet, but are considering it for our upcoming trip.

IMHO, the only true FINE dining at WDW is Victoria and Albert's. They have a dress code, don't allow children under 10 and the service and food is unmatched anywhere on property. It is TRULY fine dining in every sense of the word. If you go, enjoy the wine pairings.

Thanks!

I have been considering Narcoose's and Ca. Grill for my niece.

I know about V&A, but my niece cant go...and I dont feel like dressing up that much on vacation haha

I don't think that will work since she's bringing her 3 year old niece. ;)

My vote is for Narcoossee's. It is really good.

We've been to Jiko, Flying Fish, and California Grille. California Grille is the most "fine dining" of the three, but all have attentive, accomodating waitstaff and excellent food. All three cater to kids well and offer a nice menu. A plus for CG - if you dine there you are welcome to stay as long as you like and can view the fireworks at MK from there. The waiter there cut my son's steak so that I could just enjoy my meal!! Flying fish has a fun, funky atmosphere - a lot like Legal Seafoods in Boston. Excellent fresh fish offerings and nice steak for the "landlubber" in the crowd. Jiko has creative dishes and I remember the kids really liked the fruit salad app. Really nice South African wine list there, too.
