Best Family Resort dining....

I'm trying to plan out our meals so I can book our reservations soon and would love some recommendations for resort dining you enjoyed with your family. I have some pretty picky eaters, we don't really do seafood except the hubby and that seems to be a big theme on most menu's. Kids will be 6 4 and 2. No need for character meals or any of that, I already have several of those planned out. Thanks!

We enjoy most of the deluxe resort casual TS restaurants! We find the food quality is much better than what you mostly find in the parks. Our favorites are:

The Wave
Captains Grille
Trattoria al Forno
Grand Floridian Cafe

It's also fun to go to Ft. W and go to Trails End.

We aren't huge fans of Kona, Whispering Canyon or Beaches and Cream

Garden Grove at the Swan has good food as well.

We have picky eaters as well and found breakfasts were much bigger hits with the whole family than dinners. We ate at both Cape May and Tusker House for breakfast and we all enjoyed those better than Tusker House (lunch), Boma (dinner), Ohana (dinner), Trail's End (dinner). The adults did fine at every meal, but the kids just struggled to find things to eat.

I will say, at Ohana the server finally offered alternative meals for my younger kids and they selected Uncrustables and grilled cheese. After those came we finally saw some smiles on their faces. I'm already planning our trip for next year (bounceback for Sept 2016) and I'm expecting we'll do more breakfasts and just find some quick service meals for lunch/dinner.

I agree with the PP...we prefer doing breakfast or even better yet a later breakfast at some places so it is more of a lunch, then we grab QS for dinner later. However, some of our favorites have been The Wave and Kona so far.
