Having been spoiled by the Dolphin, we're looking to return there or to a different Epcot resort next time. The party this time will include 6 or 7 adults and 1 toddler. I can get 2 or three connecting rooms at the Dolphin on the Teacher's discount for $274 or $384 per night (I included the tax, etc.) According the the CM I called, a suite large enough for us would be over $600 and not offer as much privacy. There will be my daughter, son-in-law and their 2 yr. old, my wife, elder daughter (26 by then) and my 18 yr. old son. Everybody gets along, but the 'kids' tend to stay out later than us old farts and they don't go for EE much so we need some space. We're looking at the last week of Feb./first week in March. Any ideas?

Thanks,

I love the YC and that would be my choice and since it's been recently remodeled everything is brand new.

I second the Yacht Club. We will be staying there in May, meeting up with my sisters family of 5. Between the two families we have 5 teenage's, 2 girls/3 boys and 4 adults. We both rented 2 connecting rooms each, total of 4 rooms each with two queen beds. Since our two boys are 16 and 14 at the time of the trip, we decided to get them their own room connected to ours. Now I'm waiting for those discount codes!!

I think that everyone, young and not so young, will just love Stormalong Bay. Also connecting rooms give you that extra bathroom which is really nice, something you don't usually get in a suite onsite. Good luck and enjoy Bill!

I doubt you can get a better deal than S/D!!

If cost is not a major consideration, I'd also vote YC. For some reason, a code rate of $187 with tax is in my head :)

Another thing to consider is renting points from a DVC member & getting rooms at the beach club villas. They are new & also give you SAB access. The studios go for $130/night during the week (if you pay $10 per point. The 1 BRs are $300. Fridays & saturdays are about double.

With adults and a 12 year old, I would choose the Yacht Club. The resort is condusive to an adult stay, but the pool is definitely right up there with the great things at WDW for a 12 year old!

Have a great trip!
