From the following list of restaurants, which are your favorite entrees at each? There are a few restaurants that serve steak and I would like to have steak one night (if not two) but there are so many other entrees that are appealing I am having a difficult time deciding on my entrees! We are on the DDP and are not concerned about entree prices (whether high or low).

Narcoossee's: I already know what I'm getting - Whole Maine Lobster!

Yak and Yeti: Have dessert figured out, but all of the entrees sound amazing!

Kona Cafe: Ginger-crusted Ribeye? Teriyaki New York Strip? Coconut Almond Chicken?

Coral Reef: Grilled Mahi-Mahi? Lobster Ravioli? Grilled New York Strip? Seared Scottish Salmon?

Mama Melrose's: Charred Strip Steak? Chicken Parmigiana? Wood-grilled Tuna?

Via Napoli: Should one of us order an individual pizza and the other order an entree so we can sample a couple of different things? If so, which entree?

Hello;
We Loved Yak & Yeti...

Loved the decor....

We ordered the (side) of Wok Green Beans, and appys of Seared Ahi Tuna and Lettuce Cups...

LOVED the Tuna and Lettuce Cups... I thought the green beans would have had more of a Tempura crust... but they were not bad...

DS got the Stir fried Beef & Broccoli... and it was Delicious !

Have a magical visit !

Mary

I haven't sampled a huge variety of items at Via Nappoli, but I can tell you that the espresso martini is to die for if you love the flavor of coffee!!!

Highly recommend the teriyaki steak at Kona. Um, yum.

Narcoossee's: You already picked, and I've never been, lol.

The Plaza: I LOVE their veggie sandwich.

Yak & Yeti (table service): LO MEIN!!!! So good.

Kona Cafe: We went for breakfast, so I don't know xD

Coral Reef: Never been, but I would go with fish because it's a fish place :)

Mama Melrose's: Chicken parm or one of the flatbreads.

Via Napoli: The pizzas are awesome, especially if you like crunchy crust!!! We love the lasagna as a different entree.

Keep the recommendations coming!!!

I did end up canceling our The Plaza ADR to make room for Yak and Yeti. I think we will enjoy it more than a sandwich or burger from The Plaza. Everything on the Yak and Yeti restaurant sounds excellent! I can't wait to try the Fried Wontons dessert!

Stay away from the coconut almond chicken at Kona. It sounds amazing from the description, but I got it and it was bleh. The breading was mushy and bland.

A lot of people here on the DIS have gotten the teriyaki strip there and enjoyed it.

Yak & Yeti-wok-fried green beans with sweet chili sauce and lo mein
Via Napoli: margherita pizza
Coral Reef: vegetable-potato strudel The picture looks great-trying it in June because it has been getting rave reviews. (vegetables and mashed potatoes wrapped in phyllo pastry over tomato compote and basil oil)
popcorn::

Yak & Yeti- my absolute favorite thing there is on the appetizer menu (lettuce cups:cloud9:). As far as their listed entrees they have the best ribs on property and I usually get them, but I also like their duck, steak and shrimp, and seafood curry.

Kona-like the teriyaki steak, but love their seared tuna with fried green tomatoes

Coral Reef-steak

Mama Melrose-strip steak or penna alla vodka

Via Napoli-I'd have one order a quattro pizza and then the other another entree. I don't see it on the allears menu now, but last fall they had a really good seafood pasta on the menu. I've eaten there twice with a friend and she adores their chicken and peas dish.

yep.....mushy and bland describe it exactly. Don't worry though, if you don't like your entree at Kona you can fill up on bread!!!! IT IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup2

Yak & Yeti - I know this might sound counter to the asian flavor but that Kobe burger is da BOMB! and the fries are the best I've ever had. EVER. The seared ahi app is great as well. Ooooooo and the frosty adult beverages!

Yak & Yeti- There is a dish with skirt steak and tempura shrimp that is really good. I can't remember the name.

Miso glazed salmon at Yak and Yeti is delicious. The fried wontons are a must.

The Chicken Parm at Mama Melrose is disgusting. It was put on top of dry pasta and covered with burnt tomato sauce. Now it could have just been an off night for them but we would never go back. Nasty. As for Via Napoli, any pizza is yummy! :goodvibes
