Best earbuds for under $50

i have very small ear canals, and normal "ipod" earbuds hurt me, and won't stay in my ears. i get mine from walmart for about 20.00, and they have a memory foam tip, like these:

they're VERY comfortable, and the sound quality is pretty good too.

they're made by JVC i believe.

I got those Gumy Earbuds they were around 10 bucks. I have had um for around 3 years. they stay in great and have surived more than one rain stom and two winters in wisconsin (i walk two miles to work each day). Berfore this I went though around 5 pair a year due to weather.

The iPod earbuds don't fit in my ears either. I bought some hot pink (to match my iPod ;)) skull candy ear buds.

I think they were around $13 at Target. :)

Skullcandy earbuds. I can usually get them for $10 at Target. They're kind of like the one's Shelby is talking about but they don't have memory foam but they're the same basic shape. They last a long time as well and don't fall out of your ears.

I vote for Skull Candy, too! They have different size ear pieces so you can get a custom fit. Also, the sound quality is awesome. I got some for my DH last year for like $5 at an after Thanksgiving sale last year and he liked them so much that I had to get me a set. I found them at Marshall's for about $8.

Me too! They are the only earbuds I can wear.

where can i get skull candy ear buds?

I don't think we have a Marshalls?

The best ones and the most popular are the Skull Candy. Everyone that wears them, loves them. The biggest selection is at Best Buy.

One more vote for Skullcandy...I have these, from Target. They have been, by far, my favorite earbuds ever, and I've gone through several pairs trying to find ones that met my needs (mainly, that a) don't fall out of my ears and b) isolate sound enough so that I can--gasp--actually hear MY MUSIC at the gym over that that the stupid aerobics class is blasting in the gym that's below the elevated track. Grr.

A less-expensive alternative that I've used that I'd also recommend is the Skullcandy Smokin' Buds. I still have the same pair that I bought 2 or 3 years ago, and for several months I was using them 8 hours a day at work. They're still perfect.

You should try yurbuds.com
They are custom fit earbud enhancers.
They are super comfortable because they are custom fit and made of soft silicon and they won't ever fall out. Plus they sound great and are only $20

Ugh...Skull Candy buds are garbage. I cannot for the life of me figure out why people waste their money on them.

1. The sound quality is absolute rubbish. There is no bass or bottom end at all. My music sounds just awful. HEck even talking podcasts sound terrible.

2. They are cheap. Bought a pair less than a year ago and they broke yesterday. Only one ear works.

3. You can hear EVERY bump the wire makes against your chest, clothes, arms, wind etc. I swear these things are better than the stethoscope I use to listen to my horses heart rate. They're lousy for working out, running or doing anything other than standing still.

The good on them? Comfortable and they seal out other noise pretty well.

I need to go buy a pair of Panasonic surround sound earphones. They were tremendous! Only about $25 and the sound quality is superb, they fit, they stayed in, and they only stopped working because I dropped them in a water trough.
