Best DVC Resort for Summer visit??

We plan on going to DW at the end of August. We know it's very hot then, and trying to decide which resort to stay at. I'm wondering if anyone has any preference of DVC resort during the summer months?

If it were me...I would consider the BCV and take advantage of one of the best pools on property.

I also would recommend BCV for a hot summer trip. Storm Along Bay (SAB) is by far the best pool. It's unique (with a "lazy river" and a sand bottom) it's HUGE & the CM's do a great job of keeping the kids entertained there!! The resort is beautiful & we love being able to walk to the back entrance of Epcot.

agree with BCV - it has the best pool - (bc area not bcv area)

depends upon what you are doing? just laying out at the pool then definitely bcv

if the MK is own your mind - then would go with BLT. walking to it beats the monrail for me.

It would depend on what type of trip you are planning? A lot of down time or a lot of park time?

For us, we absolutely love AKV Kidani Village for an end of Aug trip. We did this last Aug and never went to the parks for 8 days and had the best Disney trip ever!

IMHO, our family would disagree about BCV. None of us like the pool area and we much prefer AKV over BCV for decor and amenities. The only plus for BCV, again IMHO is it's location. The Epcot resort area is great.

For our trip this Aug (23-31) we plan on splitting our time between AKV and BLT. AKV to relax, and BLT for when we plan on hitting the parks daily.
