Best DTD sit down restaurants ...and why?

We are staying ar POR for the 1st time - so I imagine we will take the boat over to DTD for dinner one ot two nights......if you had to choose 1 or 2, which ones would they be & why?

Raglan Road - Great Beer and their Bread Pudding is about the best dessert at WDW. The late night entertainment is fun too.
Portabella Yacht Club - Great Filets and a very friendly wait staff. This restaurant is a bit more quite and relaxing than most at WDW.

I'll second Raglan Road. We really enjoy their food, drinks and atmosphere. We have never seen the entertainment (we have gone too early and one Sunday when the dancer and musicians have the night off) but I hear its alot of fun.

I suggest Wolfgang Puck Cafe. I've eaten there many times and have always been happy. There is a wide variety of food from pizza, salad and pasta to sushi.

Either the Rainforest Cafe or Fultons Crab House because both locations have a great atmosphere.

The only place I really love at DTD is Wolfgang Puck Café. I guess if I had to pick two places, they would be the café and the dining room upstairs, a different restaurant all together.

The thing that sets a great chef apart from a mediocre chef is the ability to put together flavors that most people wouldn’t think to try together. Such is the case with Puck. Pumpkin Ravioli for instance, who’d a thunk it. This restaurant never fails to deliver flavor, consistency, and value. It’s my favorite place at Downtown Disney. We visit every trip. All that’s keeping it from Signature Service is the noise level and the slightly cramped quarters.

but I'll speak up for House of Blues for both the food and the general atmosphere. You're looking for dinner but the gospel brunch is one of the better shows and meals at WDW.

We Raglan Road! It's worth a trip for Ger's Bread & Butter Pudding alone!

Raglan Road. We ate there last year and the food was very good and they also have live entertainment nightly. I really enjoyed both!

I LOVE Fultons! It's expensive and no DDP! I guess that is why it's so good!

we always enjoy Fulton's but stick to apps and drinks at the bar in the past few years. Same goes for Raglan Road...can't beat a pint of Boddington's on tap!
We have also had a good meal at Wolfgang Puck Cafe, and do really enjoy House of Blues.

I would have to say Wolf Gang Puck Express (Marketplace) it was hands down one of the best meals we had during our stay. the food was awsome and the staff was great. We will be eating there again very soon.

I'll have to try Raglan Road on our next visit. We enjoy Earl of Sandwhich and eat at Rainforest if we must. Usually we detour over to SSR and eat at the Turf Club then continue over to Downtown for the evening.

Raglan Road and Portobello Yacht club are fantastic.

WE don't mind house of blues either.
