Best DTD area hotels?

I'm looking into the Hilton, Royal Plaza and Best Western...
Looks like the Hilton has more perks. Can anyone compare the Royal Plaza to the Best Western?
Or, is there a better one I should be checking into?

the Hilton.

stayed at both Royal Plaza and Best Western. then westgate was involved at RP - so definitely preferred BWLBV.

BWLBV is an older hotel - very few updates. but the room was clean! very clean!!!

RP has the plastic tub - really hate those things.

We've stayed at the Hilton, Buena Vista Palace and the Regal Sun.....

1. The Hilton was very nice, great pool area, rooms were very clean and well appointed, good choice of food onsite and you can walk across the street to Downtown Disney.....we had a room with a view of Downtown Disney shops and stuff.....really enjoyed!!!

2. Buena Vista Palace - nice for the price also...room were large and and had a balcony...pool area was nice as well...it too was right across from Downtown Disney.

3. Regal Sun was just okay.....

Sorry I don't know about the Royal Plaza, but based on the info I have, I would go for the Hilton....

If you stay at the others, you will be a little too far for walking to Downtown Disney (more than a long.........long...........block)
