We are going to try to "Drink around WS." What would you recommend in each country?

The slushes in France are probably my favorite. They have a Grand Marnier one and, I think, a citrus vodka one...Can you tell I like the Grand Marnier one better? :)

After those, the Margaritas in Mexico are good.

Rosa Regale in Italy is also great!

oooo I like this game!

Mexico- Fiesta Margarita (it is the rainbow colored one)
Morocoo- Tangerine Daiquiris
France- un kir royale (it is a traditional French drink made of champagne and a cordial of some sort...somewhat fruity!)
Italy- Bellini or Limoncello

The only one I've tried so far is the fiesta margarita in Mexico!! YUM!!!

All I can say is - don't start with the Torontopolitan at Le Cellier - it's great - but they don't hold back. You might never make it all the way to the end.:rotfl:

We are definitely doing this next week!
Tallying your answers and adding a couple of my own!

Canada - ? (Is there a bar you can pick up a drink?)

England - ?

France - un Kir Royale, Grand Marnier or citrus vodka slushie,

Morocco - Tangerine Daiquiris

Japan - ?

USA - ?

Italy - Rosa Regale, Bellini or Limoncello

Germany - ?

China - Peach Schnapps Oolong Tea Slushie

Norway - Viking coffee

Mexico - Fiesta Margarita

Please add on!

Peach Schnapps Oolong Tea Slushie from the Joy of Tea stand in China....ooh baby do these make me feel good! :upsidedow

THIS is what I'm talking about.....nothing like embracing our inner-party animals :o)

Do they let you walk around with your drink(s) or do you have to stay at the bar where you got it at?

In addition to some mentioned above, we like the Bellinis in Italy.

You can wander about the World Showcase with your drinks. You don't even have to go into a bar in most of the pavilions as they sell them from open stands. The only restriction that I'm aware of, other than Fl. laws which they must obey, is that the characters will not pose with you if you have a drink in your hand.

They also won't let you leave the park without disposing the beverage eitehr in the garbage or down your throat......It was a shame to chug that beer:goodvibes

Darn, no drunken pictures with Mickey!!! :o(

As one of the drunken fools who has actually done this I will list where we went and what we got. :woohoo: (Helpful picky drunk tip: We brought along, slyly hidden in two tin-foil wrapped water bottles, our own boozy creation in case I didn't like what was being served. :thumbsup2 )

Mexico - either Dos Equis or a Margarita (I prefer just plain strawberry with salt on the rim, delish.) :cheer2:

Norway - Viking Coffee (I had 'home booze' because although I love the Aquavit cocktails they serve in Akershus, I don't remember them being available in the bakery. That being said, I could have already been kinda drunk.) :confused3

China - either Tsing Tao or Plum Wine :cool2:

Germany - if you're a beer drinker any will do but we like to go into the shop and have a wine flight (German wine; if it was good enough for Queen Victoria, it's good enough for me!) :rotfl:

Itlay - either Peroni or a Bellini :lovestruc

America - Sam Adams ('Home booze' for me.) :snooty:

Japan - either Sake or Plum Wine (I really like Plum Wine, if you couldn't tell.) :goodvibes

Morocco - Moroccan Wine (My sidekick chose 'home booze' at this point.) :sad2:

France - either Kronenbourg or Grand Marnier slushie :yay:

UK - either Guiness or an English Rose

Canada - whatever beer is on offer (you won't be that picky at this point, although I still opted for 'home booze' while lamenting that there was no delicious Ice Wine on offer.)

So there you have it. If you've made it this far I suggest you stumble over to Spaceship Earth, Ellen's Universe of Energy, or Living With the Land to nap it off. Enjoy! :upsidedow :) :hippie:

Being a beer lover;
Mexico - dos equis
Norway- Carlsberg draft (acceptable)
China-Tsing tao
Germany- take your choice
Italy- Peroni
USA- Bud Light (subpar, but just can't stomach Sam Adams garbage)
Japan- Kirin Ichiban (drink it fast and it is consumable)
Morocco- Casa
France- keep walking, since it doesn't matter how cold or quick, Kronenberg is nasty
UK- Bass Ale
Canada- Moosehead

if the booth is open beside the Rose and Crown, a Stella Artois

Definitely like THAT idea!! They didn't search you? How did you hide it??

My husband loves Labatt Blue in Canada. It is readily available where we live though, so it is not such a treat, just a way for him to get his favorite beer outside of Michigan.
