Best drink at Trader Sams

Need a recommendation for a drink at Trader Sams please!

My favorites are the mosquito mojito and the Krakatoa Punch.

I'm curious to know if there is a thread or an article that anyone has read that tells you which drinks have a special effect and what it is. I remember seeing a video where someone ordered a certain drink and everyone got excited and a volcano went off. Some of the drinks sound really good but sometimes I can be a little shy. It would be nice to know what I'm getting myself into...lol

Uh Oa, Krakatoa, Shipwreck on the rocks are the ones which have special effects.

Check touring plans they have the best menus IMO and they have prices

No special effect, but I loved the Sweitzer Falls non alcoholic drink. DH liked his Hippopotomaitai and it was about $12 or $13 including the souvenir tiki glass.

Touring plans says the uh oha is 19.50 and I could've sworn it was 40$. Anyone got it recently??

If you want something sweeter, I'd go with the Piranha Pool. If you want something more tangy, the Passionate Python is great. Remember, you can always get a drink that comes with a collectible cup without the cup and save some money that way. You can also ask for an unused cup that is still in its box if you don't want to take the one that you've been drinking out of (sometimes the bartenders offer this option, but sometimes they don't).

Love the Shipwreck on the Rocks for a nice, simple but strong drink. Something a little sweeter (and in fact tastes similar to bubble gum to me) try the Mosquito Mojito!

Thanks! We tried the Mosquito Mojito (which I liked), Piranha Pool, Shrunken Zombie Head & ShipwreckThe Shipwreck was pretty strong but the others not as much.

I've had pretty much all of them outside the Uh-Oa ( might fix that next week !)

My personal favorites in order :

Krakatoa Punch - Could drink these forever
Lost Safari - sweet but not too much so
Black Pearl - Not on menu but think strong Long Island with cranberry juice instead of coke
Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Rum - So good
Shipwreck - This did wreck me..LOL
Ginger's Pear-adise - Really great last drink of the night , light and refreshing

I love Trader Sam's and their food is often overlooked but their bbq pork flatbread and Ahi are amazing.

The uh oa is $39.50 and not really worth it in my opinion. I think it depends on the bartender that night. We had the shrunken zombie head (husband said really good and strong) I ordered the murky mojito but pretty sure got the mosquito mojitos with strawberry rum and I really didn't like it at all. The tiki tiki tiki tiki rum was good but really strong. That was the same bartender that made my husband's really strong drink. I'll try to post pictures of the uh oa when I get home.
