We have a 2 year old and in about 17 weeks we will welcome a newborn. I am at a loss on what double stroller to buy. I don't want to spend a fortune but I still want a durable stroller. Anybody have any suggestions on brands and prices? Thanks a bunch in advance.:)

I personally like my graco side by side. It is strong, the seats are nice and they recline independantly. It takes a beating. It fits through all doors and wheels nicely. We have had it for 5 years. It has been to WDW at least 8 times. It cost about $125. You can still get it for about the same price. It does not fold super small like a combi. It folds down so it is flat but not folded in half. I still love it. I have yet to find another double that I want to buy and believe me, I have looked at every one of them out there. One of the things I really liked about this one is that the seats are roomy. The Mac doubles are so narrow that at 2 our kids would be too big for it to be comfortable. I love my Mac single, but the doubles are way too small. The Graco also has a large underbasket. I don't have any complaints about this stroller at all.

ETA- I never used those bucket carseats after I had my first. So I never had to worry about clicking the seat in the stroller. I would just lay the baby down on their side of the stroller, strap them in and put a blanket tucked in.

I can tell you what stroller NOT to get.....the Peg Perego Aria twin - it is really horrible. We've had 2 and have had nothing but problems with them!!!!

Our 3rd baby is due next week and we went to a Graco front to back. We have only used it around the store, but it seems great.

My stroller is great but I do not think it has a connection for an infant seat. Its by Chicco side by side grey w/ orange (forget the name sorry)

but I can also tell you we had a tandem stroller (where they sit in front of eachother. ) it was sooo hard to manuever/fold/bulky.

I was telling a GF of mine who was in the same situation and I suggested the
Combi Twin Sport Stroller cause it was compatible w/ a car seat and she loves it! I had to look that up so my chicco is called the Trevi
Hope this helps and congrats on the new arrival!

Also the only downside is that I was debating on between the chicco and combi myself when I bought my chicco and the reason why I went w/ the Chicco is cause it had more storage in the combi the wheel bar went right though the storage compartment.

I love my City mini double. I traded up to it from a Zooper Tango and a Graco Quattro Tour Duo. The City mini is so worth the price and I hear a car seat attachment is now available.

I had the Combi and it fell apart in a short amount of time! We are currently using the Graco Duoglider and I hate it. Its heavy and hard to push. I'm looking into the city mini or phil and ted (which is way too expensive!). Good luck!

I'm due in early June and DD will be 23 months when the baby comes. I'm looking at the deluxe sit and stand by one step ahead I know a lot of people have it and like it - but I'm also looking at the bumbleride indie twin - it is really popular around here and I hear great things about it. I have seen several moms at the mall with it - with a 2 year old child and the baby in the infant car seat in the stroller and they both look comfortable.

The city mini double is also pretty popular but DD looked crowded in it so not sure how it will work with the infant seat which they supposedly have an attachment for if you get the 2009 model.

I can't live without my Maclaren Twin Techno, it reclines fully, umbrella style/side by side, comes with rain shield thing, foot muffs for winter, head supports for infants, It weighs about 26 pounds I think and costs about $300. Worth every penny. I use it at Disney, I use it at home, I LOVE it. I bought before my 2nd son was born so I would be ready because I also have the Maclaren single Techno stroller so I knew I wanted the double. Make sure it is the Techno because not all Maclarens recline fully.

We have the Combi Twin and we love it! Its easy to push and steers well, even with a 2 and 5 yeard old in it.

Can't tell you which one to buy but I can tell you... DO NOT BUY THE JEEP DOUBLE STROLLER!!! What ever you buy make sure that it is sturdy and easy to manuver.
