In terms of a double stroller, which would you recommend -

The side by side kind, which would be wider, but might be easier to close and carry . . .

or

The front and back kind, which may be easier to get through tight spots.

Thanks for your help. :thanks:

I haven't BEEN to Disney with kids yet but I've been doing research on strollers, myself. We have front/back (Double Sit n' Stand from Target) which is great BUT it is not very easy to move around once folded. Has a HUGE basket underneath to carry things which is nice. I think alot of side by sides don't have a ton of storage underneath...not sure if that matters to you or not.

I'll be curious to see how others respond...

This is my first WDW trip but I'm going to take my twin mac which is a side by side because it is so easy to fold down which is great for the bus..as easy to push.

Sept. will be our 3rd trip to WDW with out Graco side-b-side stroller. I love it. THe seat recline for sleepy kids. The storage basket is huge. It is very easy to push. It fits pretty much anywhere a wheelchair would. I had front-to-back stoller and had many problems with it - only one seat reclined, hard to maneuver, huge folded up, heavy to lift in and out of car, and the larger child needed to sit in front but the weight made it impossible to steer.

I too have the side-by side and I also have had no trouble with it or the airport. The other thing I like is that with the side by side there is no fighting over who gets to sit in front! :thumbsup2

We have taken our side-by-side Baby Jogger to disney for most of our trips and it works very, very well. We have no problems with tight spots, except on the boardwalk on the "ramp" to get the boat -- we can still fit but it's tight. Otherwise, no problems at all!! It's extremely easy to push and maneuver, even with our twins getting older and heavier!

We've been using a side-by-side umbrella type stroller the past few times we have gone to Disney. It is very easy to close and load onto a bus so that is why I chose it. Some of the jogging and front-back strollers may have more room and may be a little easier to puch, but I think they are much heavier and awkward. It has pockets behind each seat, but I usually hang a backpack over the middle with all of my stuff! When I first started using it, my kids were 7 mo and 2 1/2. They are now almost 5 and 3 and we are still using it!
