There's several DL apps on itunes. Just wondering which ones you guys find most useful. In particular, wait times, GPS, park info. etc.

I used mousewait a lot last week in the parks.

wdWeather+ was awesome for weather forecasts in DLR or WDW.

I should have used GotPlans Disneyland for some dining help... Forgot to ...

Also hours and events but mousewait has this as well...

Walkee I used sometimes...

I'd recommend hitting up twitter and following a few if the people that tweet about Disneyland. Often you get reliable information and instantly.

Another vote for the free MouseWait app. Especially since their new update last week. I found the wait times to be pretty accurate. You do need to pay attention to the last time a waittime was posted, but they are usually updated by someone else in the park on a pretty regular basis. I'm not a big fan of their forums, but there's lots of other good stuff on there for a free site. I must admit to enjoying the MouseWait radio to get a little Disneyland music fix now and then. Don't trust MouseWait's calendar, though! They frequently seem to mess up on show times and even open and close times for the parks.

Another that I use, though not as often, is the DISBoard's app (eTicket). I like this one mostly for the maps where you can filter food, attractions, shows, and bathrooms. As much as I'd love for this one to be my favorite (go DIS!), there's just not much else I use on it and it costs too much for what you get (IMO). Sorry, eTicket! :guilty: :goodvibes

I also surprised myself by really using the DL Dining app. It gives you fast and easy access to menus for all the restaurants and a quick link to Disney Dining's phone number. Not that it takes that long to look up a phone number, but it was handy to compare a couple of menu options and then just touch the "Call Now" button. I'd use this by looking at some menus, deciding what I was most in the mood for, and then calling for a reservation about an hour out. It was great to then walk up to the restaurant with no wait when everyone else was being told 30-40 minutes. All because I called an hour ahead to put in my name. I think this one was 99 cents.

I've used a couple of others, but they were fairly forgettable and they've been deleted.

We used both Mousewait and GotPlanS and it met the needs of the family.

Thanks for your replies. Looks like I'll be using MouseWait. From what it lloks like, I think the lines will be short due to the rain in the forecast this weekend. Hopefully it's a sprinkle. We'll see. Thanks again for all your input in iphone apps for DL. :yay:

Mousewait is also useful for the days for arriving at DL so you know where to go first in the morning before the lines to those attractions get absurdly long *coughspacemountain*

Mousewait is now also available for Android phones running 2.2.:)

I just downloaded the the MouseWait app and I am very impressed by it, and the best part is... It was free! I am very much looking forward to using it. It's nice to see they even put the menu's from AllEars.net on there. :thumbsup2

Disney Parks (Disney World and Disneyland) have their own "Official" App titled "Mobile Magic" and it's only available on Verizon Wireless.

I've seen this advertised but I believe it's about $10 for 3 months. Please correct me if I'm wrong. It would be one thing to pay $10 for "lifetime" membership but to have to re-buy it every 3 months is over the line imo. :sad2:

I think I just found the Disneyland Dining app you mentioned, but it was free. Looks great with menus, prices, and the phone numbers, like you mentioned. I've used the MouseWait links to AllEars before, which worked ok, but was slow. I'm excited to use this on our upcoming trip. Thanks!

We got it free when it was first introduced about 3 years ago. You can go to the app store and find out, sorry.
