Any suggestions for the best Disneyland Paris Guidebook? I'm looking for an actual book (or an e-book).

I realize you can get a lot of great information on the boards and on other locations online, but I am looking to also have an actual physical book I can read. I haven't found much online, so I just wanted to see if anyone here had any suggestions. Thanks!

I also appreciate having something IN MY HANDS!
Recently I purchased the Unofficial Guide to Disneyland Paris and the DLP e-book from Passporter. Both were good, and they complement each other in their content well.
Enjoy your planning!! :woohoo:

Great - thank you!!

We used the Brit Guide Disneyland Paris, 2010/11 edition by Simon and Susan Veness for our trip last year. Lots of information, tips and color photos.

I like the Brit's Guide too - very informative. I like having a book too - can't take the laptop into the bath :rotfl:

I have to say though, the best tips are found by reading the trip reports :thumbsup2

i like the brit guide too, loads of info, i can sit and read it for ages. i got mine on amazon. Also there is a voucher in the back page for 20% off food at planet hollywood, and 10% off at the plant hollywood shop too.

I know what you mean about having a book :) The only issue I have is that a lot of the current ones seem to have dated VERY quickly, especially with the change over from New Gen to Magical Moments, so I find a couple of good websites, copy+paste into Word and print off for those times I don't want to sit at a screen :)
A couple of websites I've found useful are www.dlrpmagic.com and www.dlrptoday.com, both are very up-to-date, well written and interesting to read.

I forgot to see if you had a ticker (and if you mentioned when you are going then I'm even more of a cotton-head than I thought) so I'm not sure when you're going but new books may be out soon to go along with the festival change over :confused3 I'm not sure what time of year the new editions are released but have a read of The Very Useful Information sticky (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1017065) as it has LOADS on there :) so its good bath-time/daily commute reading when its printed :)

HTH:goodvibes

The good thing about the Kindle is if you cut and paste into Word ro notepad and email it to your Kindle address then it's a very easy way to get content onto the reader. I'm sure others are just as easy.

For cutting and pasting I find www.evernote.com a great tool.
I use this to copy webpages, plans or anything else as I go along.

Great that you can log into any computer or download the free iPhone app to access the info :)

The Brit Guide is the best book out there for DLP (better than the Unofficial guide in my opinion - for WDW, however, the Unofficial Guide is definitely the one to buy).

The Brit Guide was very good at giving a good guide on how scary/intense all the rides will be, which was important for me and my family.

Having said all that, I have found that scouring the Internet's various guides was probably more useful than any book. I can also vouch for DLRPMagic and DLRPToday, especially the sections on restaurant menus.
