HI all,
I am looking for your opinion on the best Disney podcasts out there--I'm new to the whole podcasting thing and want something to listen to in the car that will be interesting and funny, and not too corny.

Thanks everyone!!! :)

Totally agree with WDW Today. It is by far my favorite. But I also like Inside the Magic and Mousetunes.

WDW today is the most entertaining. I still haven't been able to get into the other ones, but I will definitely give them a shot again. (I don't have an IPod, so I have to download archived episodes and burn them to an MP3 CD.) I really don't like the official WDW podcast that much either.

Inside the Magic by Ricky Brigante is fantastic. Just the right mix of talking, music, etcs.

I'm not a fan of Mousetunes - the hosts find themselves WAY to funny.

Here's what I listen to...

Mouseguest -this is my favorite one. Good combination of info. Very creative and not very repetitive.

Mousetunes -excellent information, great trivia, and the best rumor section of all

Inside the Magic -good listen but a bit too slick. And it often has things that are hard to listen to, like a 15 minute ride-through from DLP...in French.

Wdw Today -if you are trip-planning, this is the one

MiceCast -not for the whole family. Great conversation, but it is adult-only due to the language.

There are a whole slew over on the Disney Podcast Network -- an unofficial collection of Disney Park podcast (although some are for DisneyLand).

WDWToday, Inside the Magic, and MouseTunes are all great (WDWToday is my favorite), but I have two other favorites....

Character Breakfast (over on Sorcerer Radio) is entertaining and Beyond Main Street is a good, fun vidcast.

In terms of great info per minute, WDWToday wins hands down.

WDW Today! The guys of WDWT are credible, knowledgable, and hilarious. (Len has the best stories from his Unofficial Guide research trips!) Theirs is the show I look most forward to every Mon-Wed-Fri. And I agree with the above posters -- WDW Today is a valuable trip planning resource.

I also enjoy MouseTunes very much. The shows usually run over an hour in length (compared to WDWT's 15-30 minute shows) due to the various Disney trivia, news, and rumor segments, but the time flies by with Lou and Nathan.

I like Inside the Magic the best. I'm starting to get into WDW today, but I can't always tell who's talking and I don't like how each host's mic seems to be at a different volume. They do have good info, though.

Agree, WDWtoday is the best. The dis has a podcast and the first few episodes were really pretty awful, recently though they have switched to a roundtable format more like WDWtoday and it's fantastic. Last week there was a review of the Coral Reef that had me laughing so hard it's a wonder I didn't drive my car off the road.

WDW Today, Inside the Magic, Mousetunes, Lets Talk about Disney, and the Dis podcast. I agree with whats been said about the Dis podcast becoming better and I to agree that it started with the Coral Reef review.

I agree that WDW Today has great podcasts. But they also do a monthly live show that people can call in with their questions. These guys really want to help everyone plan their Disney Vacation! My 6 1/2 year old loves listening to their shows. Our favorite episode is the Disney Widows, where their wives tell what it is like to live with Disney Geeks.

Good podcst, but you're right, they do have sound issues.

No more fake, scripted "banter"? I'll have to check it out again. The first few episodes were dreadful.

Yes! It's gone! Now it's so much better and I am really looking forward to the next one. Get the ones that are marked as 'roundtable', there are only a couple and they are great.

I like MouseTunes, MouseGuest weekly, WDWToday and MeandringMouse.

I just saw that MouseTunes was voted as the Best Travel Podcast of 2006 at PodcastAwards.com! Congratulations Lou and Nathan! Great job!!
