Since Disney is such a magical place, I just thought it would be neat to hear everyone's favorite stories! Here's mine:
In October 2000, I went on the Disney Cruise Line for a one-week Cruise on the Magic. As most of you probably know, they do a show every week called Who Wants to be a Mousekateer, where the grand prize is a free return cruise for two! I was the second person picked from the audience to play the show. Because I was only 13 at the time, I got to bring a parent up with me. My mom, who is a Disney nut, went up on stage with me. The game was ten questions with three lifelines just like the real show. They had to change phone a friend obviously, so they had an ask the panel lifeline instead. The first few questions were pretty easy, like what is the name of Belle's father (Maurice, by the way), but they got really hard at the end, like what attraction is the song 'A Golden Dream' played on? (American Adventure). We had used up all our lifelines by the time we reached the final question. It popped up on the screen (What is the name of the boat at Typhoon Lagoon?) and I jumped for joy when my mom told me she knew the answer. Our choices were A: Miss Nilly B: Miss Tilly C: Silly Nilly or D: Silly Tilly. I immediately answered B, the Miss Tilly and seconds later was celebrating a new cruise for two! Luckily, we were able to pay for a tird person so we could bring along my dad, and we went back in February. This is one of the happiest moments of my life, and I remember it like it was yesterday.
It seems like just about everybody who goes to a Disney park or Cruise has some incredible story to tell. What's yours?
