Best Disney hotel for crib rental/child's first Disney...

In the past my husband and I have stayed at the Swan, which we really like (especially location and pool). Does anyone have an experience renting a crib here or at another Disney property? We are looking for what would be the best location for our daughter's first trip to Disney (we aren't focusing as much on lots of park time, just location and feel of Disney property). She will be 1 1/2. Thank you!

Actually not true.

We got a full crib when we stayed at the Beach Club.

The Beach Club gets my vote for your trip since you already know you like the EPCOT area where the Swan is. Lots of Disney charm and a fun, sandy pool section to splash in with your little one.

They had mini cribs at the swan and dolphin when we went there and pack n plays at animal kingdom and AOA.

My understanding is that full size cribs are being phased out and that there are very few left. I can tell you that in 5 trips with my boys we requested a crib each time (all levels, from value, moderate, and deluxe and DVC, and most split stays). Never once did we get one. I would go to the front desk and nicely complain but heard the same story over and over again. Trip #6 we were tired of pack n plays and rented cribs from a baby's best friend. Well worth it and I highly recommend this company. We are past the cribs now but I would use them again if needed.

For location I would choose the magic kingdom resorts. There's just more to do at the MK for a little one than at the other parks. Resort in particular woukd be the CR. That walkway to the MK is golden. It never has a line to wait in, never breaks down, and never asks you to fold your stroller. It's our favorite resort for transportation reasons.
