best directions Lorton to LBV

I read (someplace on DIS boards) awhile back that someone suggested an alternate route other than I-4 when driving from Sanford to LBV area. The greenway? We will be staying at Shades of Green. Thanks! Ann

We will be arriving in Sanford via Auto Train from Virginia. It is (I believe) about 1 hour north of Orlando area. Just looking to maybe save some time by avoiding I-4 if possible?

Here is the way to go. You will get on the Greenway (417) southbound. Follow to the signs for WDW. The follow the signs for the Magic Kingdom, and at the toll barrier they will tell you how to get to SoG. (You'll stay right then make a left at the light, follow to the end and turn right, SoG will be on the left.)

It couldn't be easier.

FYI, Sanford is absolutely no where near the 429.
