best dinner time for interaction at WCC?

What would be the best ideal time to get the most interaction at Whispering Canyon Cafe for dinner?

I'm certain that my FIL and DH, who are both big jokesters would love this place.

Any suggestions on less busy times in hopes for interaction?

We went to 50's Prime Time once and it was a total bust, so I'd like to try another place.

We went for a 5:15 p.m. ADR two years ago and there was NOTHING going on the entire 2+ hours we were there (we were seated 30 minutes past our ADR time). Personally, I'd go back to 50's Prime Time--the food is 100 times better.

My understanding is that it all depends on your server and if they are into it, etc. Obviously the night we were there, none of the servers were into it.

Isn't it funny how one person likes something and another doesn't. People have such varied tastes. I think as far as the "entertainment" we must have just hit a bad night. I know on our other visits to the resort to look around or eat at the food court, WCC was hopping with activity (and we usually went there around 5 pm or so on those visits). Good luck and hope you have lots of "fun" for your relatives.

Dh's reaction to the food was, "I can make this stuff at home!"

We had a great time at WCC. I believe our ADR time was 7:45. Our server was fun and there was a lot going on in the restaurant like the wooden horse races.

I was going to say the same thing about WCC, I love the place and found 50's to be average. You are so correct, there are so many varied tastes when it comes to dining. There are even those on here who even love a place like ABC Commissary.

We've not done 50's in over ten years (but even in that distant memory I know it was better than the grub at WCC). You are joking, right? People actually love ABC Commissary?
