Best Dinner Buffets

We will be on the Dining Plus Plan in Feb. and would prefer buffets to get a variety for everyone.

Any Suggestions?

If you like seafood, try the Cape May Buffet(Beach Club). Food is great.

The only ones we will do anymore are Biergarten or Cape May Cafe. Boma has one--it gets mixed reviews (we've not tried it as I'm not into spices, etc.). After our last medicore experience at Chef Mickey's and two horrible experiences at Hollywood & Vine, Cape May and Biergarten are the only ones we'll do as they've had consistently good food

In order of preference for the ones we have tried:
1. Boma
2. Crystal Palace
3. Cape May Cafe

BTW, we like all 3, but Boma is miles ahead of the others, IMHO.

I vote Cape May. Not only do they have seafood but also ribs and chicken. Also you can't beat their deserts.

Boma definitely gets my vote. They have really interesting African themed foods but also lots of "normal" stuff for those less adventurous. And they have Zebra Domes! How could you go wrong??

My vote is Boma. We used to be big on Crystal Palace, but out 10:25 ADR got us seated well after 11, with the few remaining breakfast items being cold or warm (depending on which it wasn't supposed to be - cold waffles and warm melon aren't good.) We knew we were at the tail end of breakfast (which is why we chose it - brunch instead of an early lunch that day), but we were pretty disappointed. (And the night before, we waited almost an hour past our ADR time for Trail's End, which didn't make waiting at CP any easier.)

Others which are pretty good are Tusker House (which is kind of Boma-lite - no zebra domes, but the rest of the food is pretty representative of Boma, actually) or Biergarten.

Boma at AKL has our vote. We are looking forward to trying Biergarten in December, as well.

Beirgarten is our favorite and a must every trip. We are trying Crystal Palace thin time (on Tuesday)

Another vote for Boma here! We make time to go there every trip. We also like Crystal Palace and Tusker House for Breakfast.

We ate at a ton of character buffets last time, and Crystal Palace was by far the best dinner food, hands down. That one gets my vote!

My top choices (of where I've eaten with the kids) are 1900 Park Fare, Boma, Chef Mickey's (all buffets). Also we loved Ohana and Whispering Canyon Cafe which are served family style. My DH likes lots of food (quantity), I like good tasty food, and my boys are picky eaters. We were ALL satisfied with the selections at these places.

We have been to just about all of them and the only 2 we will eat at are Beirgarten and Cape May Clambake..the rest are pretty BLECH with over salted food, fatty food, tasteless food and dried out food

If you like seafood, try the Cape May Buffet(Beach Club). Food is great.

Just ate at Cape May clambake last week--the night we were there they had all you can eat Crab Legs at the buffet--someone else on her said they didn't have them--so not sure if it's a new addition or only some nights.

But for the non-seafood lovers,there are still some options--I remember seeing ribs, corn on the cob, steamed red potatoes, and the standard kids fare choices, salad, fruit +more along with the shrimp, crab legs, clams, etc. And then of course, the OREO BONBONS for desert--there dessert bar is great!

We also went back later in our trip for the breakfast buffet and I have to say it was a fairly low key character meal--much quieter than chef mickeys/crystal palace. We enjoyed it for the last morning of our trip when we were kind of worn out and needing something more low key.

i have always really like the garden grill in the land at Epcot. i am a meat & potatoes guy so it was right up my alley. but we also has some of the best character interaction there (although it was about 3 years ago) Pluto even got into the booth with us. he was great with both the kids and adults. i also liked Liberty Tree Tavern but it is also not characters now but the buffet was good also (although only one meal a day is buffet i think).

We loved the Tusker House for breakfast and Beirgarten.

The Liberty Tree was good too. It isn't a buffet but it is family style and there was something for everyone in our group.
