Best Diaper Bag?

Can I get some opinions on what other moms consider to be the "best" diaper bag to take to WDW? It needs to be big enough to pack diapers, snacks, extra clothes, etc. but small enough that I can carry it without looking like a pack mule. I prefer the messenger style, but wouldn't mind a shoulder bag. And if this isn't asking too much, waterproof or water resistant :goodvibes Thanks!

I bought the diaper bag from LL Bean, took it to WDW and it worked great for us!!!! It didn't cost an arm and a leg either. I had my ds' initials monogrammed on to it. It's waterproof, has some great pockets for storing my stuff as well as the baby's, is very comfortable hanging from my shoulder and has a long enough strap to hang from the stroller as well. The little zipper in the front flap is perfect for storing room keys, AP's and FP's. Check it out!

We love our Land's End backpack diaper bag... but our trip in December we only used it 2 out of 8 days... the rest of the week I threw a few diapers and a pack of travel wipes in the largest zipper compartment in my Baggalini...and then put the changing pad from the diaper bag in the bottom of the stroller.

SO much easier!

Ever try Timbuk2 bags? Not a diaper bag, but water resistant (inside and out) and they have tons of great styles. They recommend on their website a diaper bag "hack" kit.....essentially, you can get all the diaper bag extras at target, etc that you need for your typical diaper bag. Timbuk2's last forever...I LOVE mine. Not cheap, but a GREAT bag! Here is a link for the messenger styles, but they have lots of other great styles as well.

My experience - if you are carrying diapers in that diaper bag, you will still be needing a stroller, so the size of the bag is not that much of an issue since it can ride on the stroller too. We used to always use a regular backpack and keep our snacks and juice boxes in other pockets - worked like a charm. If we needed to carry it with us, we just threw it over a shoulder or on the back.

I have a Skip Hop bag that has straps to attach it to the stroller. It is perfect! Two outside velcro pouches, two long zipper areas on top and deep enuf to hold extra clothes in the bottom and out of the way, and a mesh pouch on the side that holds a sippy cup or bottle perfectly.

We also used the Lands End backpack diaper bag. We loved that we could throw it on a back and also have free hands for the baby. We used it as our camera bag also, because the padding was good.

I have the vera bradley baby bag, which I love for its size, but I'm not crazy about it for being organized. My DH is not thrilled about carrying a big paisley, feminine looking bag. Also, when filled for a day at WDW, it's a tight fit in our stroller basket. That being said, I had bought the Eddie Bauer baby backpack on clearance at Target for our 2nd trip. It had handy straps that we could attach to the stroller handles, and since it was smaller than the other bag, it fit easily in the stroller basket. And since it's orange and black, my DH was fine when he had to carry it. My only complaint was that it was a lot smaller inside than I thought.

I have a skiphop too and I LOVE it. I got ours at target for 7$ on clearance but it's totally worth the 30$ they normally are at target.

We used the Spark by Skip Hop that Target sells on our trip in December. Although it served it's purpose, not having a zip top that closed all the way was pretty annoying and I really wished I would have brought my Timbuk2 or Fleurville bag. I was worried about leaving them out with the stroller and getting stolen. But, hindsight, I would have been much more worth having what I was used to and needed rather than having something I really didn't like. Lesson learned, now I know!

we used my petunia picklebottom with backpack straps, and the straps to attach it to the stroller. I love that it has a built in changing pad! We also used my laptop backpack (minus the computer) since the 5 year olds had so much for us to carry too.

I bought a small-ish backpack at REI to keep under the stroller with dry snacks (goldfish, animal crackers, etc) and then we carried a JJ Cole Essentials bag everywhere the stroller couldn't go. The JJ Cole is an awesome, compact, easy-to-carry bag that holds enough diapers and other supplies (paci, cell phone, change of clothes, diapers, wipes) and it's so lightweight you hardly notice it.
