If you have a diaper bag you love, please tell me about it! I'm looking for the best bag to take to Disney next month. Hoping for something roomy (I take too much with me into the parks), but small enough to fit in the basket under our stroller (we're taking our regular sized Graco stroller)

:goodvibes We have a few different diaper bags and smaller totes that we use off and on. Our main diaper bags are a Skip Hop Duo, the black freebie bag from the hospital, and a Skip Hop knockoff from Target.

:goodvibes When we took our then 3 month old daughter in September, I used the Skip Hop knock off from target on the plane with no problem. But once we were in the parks, I ended up using the free hospital diaper bag. That way I didn't care if something spilled, etc. Plus it had a ton more room in it and lots of pockets and zipped at the top which none of my other diaper bags did. LOL

:goodvibes So if you have one of those, they're actually my recommendation! If you don't, look around on Craigslist or Freecycle. I always see them being offered up. Otherwise, look for something with pockets so you can keep things organized and that has enough storage. Something that zips right up is nice so you don't have to worry about anything falling out. With our older DD, we always just used a backpack for whatever we needed. I think that would work fine for baby things too. Then it is easy to grab and go if using busses, etc. HTH :wizard:

I love my lands End back pack style Diaper bag. We have had it almost 2 years and its still holding up great. We have two toddlers that I use it for and it gets used almost daily.

I love my SkipHop messenger style bag. I use it every time we travel. I strap it on the back of the stroller and leave the basket for water bottles, etc. I have taken it to WDW twice and will take it again.

Land's End...I have 2 different styles and I use them both all of the time and stash them in the basket under our stroller (which is one of the smaller Graco with infant carrier ability, etc)

I had gotten my friend one of these and she swears by it....now that some colors are on sale, I had to get a couple for myself! It is the sling tote from Fleurville.....has a decent amount of room, insulated beverage holder, changing pad and O-rings to hang it from your stoller handle so you can use your basket for other things. We won't be trying ours out at WDW til December, but it is may be worth a looksie for you!

Look for the sling tote...not all the colors are all that great, but the turquoise cord is very nice...I bought that color and the mixed ogo.

We are out of that stage finally :cool1: but we always just used a black backpack. See, my thinking was DH would be more inclined to carry it :goodvibes

I found a messenger style diaper bag at Baby Depot that I love and will be going to WDW with us in 6 days!!! Pretty Khaki color tons of pockets, best thing is the long messenger strap comes off and converts to short loops which attach to the stroller!!!:woohoo:

all 5 of our Disney trips w/kids have been with a Lands' End backpack diaper bag. I am a fan of the backpack b/c it is very sturdy and frees up my arms.

In the past I have used an Eddie Bauer diaper bag we have had through 4 kids. But on our last trip when our youngest was 20 months, I decided I wanted to pack lite going into the parks.

We are mid day break people, and we really only need a limited amount of items. Anyway, on a whim I picked up a demin tote style bag at Walmart (in the craft area). My original intent had been for older dd to get signatures on the bag, but she did not like that plan.

I decided the bag was the perfect size for park days at Disney, and I was really pleased with how well it worked! The big advantage to an open tote style bag is that there are no zippers or pockets to search when going into the parks...a quick peak inside and off we went.

Granted, the bag is not one I would use for travel on a plane (I like a bag that closes in that circumstance), but it worked great for us in the parks.

I had been searching for the perfact diaper bag for DD. I found the perfect bag at J.C. Penny. It is a red asian print that you can either use as a back pack or messanger type bag. Its by baby essentials. FYI I got it a few weeks ago at the Montgomeryville Mall. It was only $20. It fits great in my graco as well as my smaller stroller. It fits everything + more that DD needs. I plan on using it for WDW next month!

I bought a mesh back pack from Wal-Mart last year for under $5. IN it I put a gallon zip lock with 2 diapers, wipes, cream and dirty diaper bags. Gallon Zip lock with a change of clothes for 2 youngest (had 6YO 4YO and 14 MO). Gallon Zip lock with 3 autograph books and plenty of sharpies. Quart Zip lock with basic first aid needs and sunscreen. Quart Zip lock with simple snacks for all. 2 bottles of water & my passporter. It still has a bit of room to spare. On 2 occasions it fit 2 used rain ponchos, scrunched into a gallon zip lock bag.

I could also stow the video camera in it if I needed to (its small). THe digital camera fit in my fanny pack.

I think I'm buying one again this year! IT lasted fine 6 days in the parks, tehn on 2 other trips (One was a 12 day hospital trip 2 states over). The last day trip (THe boy burned his hand and we frequently fly in for his doc appointments, then fly hom ethe same day) we took, it got caught on a hook in the bathroom and tore a small hole in it. I'm not at all sad. It was the best $4 I have ever spent!

It fit in my carry on bag, the basket in the graco we have (Single and double), over the handles of the umbrella streoller. Empty, it fit in my fanny pack. Yes, it was comfortable to wear, even in the august heat. And since I had everything in zip lock and the bag itself was mesh, getting through security was a breeze. We'd approach security, I'd hand a zip lock or 2 to each of the family members and have my fanny pack unzipped by the time we got to security. I'd pass through first, then each person would put their bag back into the back pack. We got more than one compliment on our effeciency LOL!

GOod luck finding a bag htat will work for you!!:thumbsup2
