Hi, all! I just got a Maclaren Quest Mod stroller for DD 8 months and I LOVE it!!! I am just looking for the PERFECT diaper bag to hang around the handles. But I don't want it to get in the way.

For those of you with Maclaren strollers, what kind of diaper bags do you use?

Thanks for any advice you can give!

I used a regular backpack. The shoulder straps fit over each handle and the bag hangs between them. Then again, I never had a "diaper bag" for long because I hated them.

That's what I usually do, but I was wondering if there was a plain black one that fit the maclaren perfectly (looking for storage compartments, etc). I just want to see if something else will work better than my backpack.

Thanks! :wave2:

We use the Maclaren organizer and love it. Of course our Maclaren just broke into 4 pieces so that sorta ends that, but that's another story. I find that I can get by with only the Organizer now, though we do have a backpack diaper bag too. I just throw some diapers and wipes into the pouch of the organizer and I'm set. Of course I don't need to carry around baby food or formula or anything but for diapers, wipes, small snacks and toys it works very well.

I have one (over a year old) it is made for stroller handles.

Just love it when it's on my Mc stroller!

There is also a shoulder strap you can snap on too.

A third vote for the Skip Hop -- I use it both on my single Maclaren as well as my Maclaren Twin Traveler. Great bag!!!

Buy Buy Baby has a quilted organizer that comes in blue or black. It is sold next to the McClaren versions, but is cheaper and (I think) more practical. It clips around the handles of my McClaren and easily unclips at restaurants, etc. It also has handles. There are two bottle compartments in the front.

I have used it in theme parks all week-end and have found it to be the perfect bag!

I found one by JJ Cole (Essentials bag I believe). Its a sling type bag. I hate diaper bags and dont need to haul a lot (I leave stuff in my car and in the Mac organizer). This bag holds quite a bit of stuff. I was able to get in diapers for my daughter and son, Desitin tube, a ziploc with wipes, my phone, pacifier, wallet, outfit to change into, hat, and other small items such as Tylenol, etc. It has many little comparments (and one big one for the diapers). Instead of a changing pad, I got a waterproof sheet that I cut up to fit a changing table.

I also got a very small backpack that Im using now. Also keep in mind when hanging stuff off the back of the stroller that it will tip. I have a Mac Quest and when the baby isnt in it, the bag comes off since it will tip easily.

I also have the Quest and find if I try to put anything more than the mesh organizer on the handles, the thing flips up the second DD gets out - for that reason alone, I am considering taking my bigger, bulkier, yet sturdier Metrolite with me to WDW.

Does anyone else have this problem??

Yes, we had the tipping problem too with our Techno. That was 1 reason why we just go out with the organizer now cause that won't tip the stroller and we can leave it on there when we park the stroller.

Yes, tipping is a problem! That is why I wanted a bag that I can easily get on and off (similar to the organizer, I guess...but a bigger bag)

This SkipHop bag sounds like it will fit my needs PERFECTLY.

Thanks for the suggetions, guys! Now to go find them at the store... :woohoo:

Well, after reading the reviews on the skip hop, I went out and bought it today! I got the Expo, which is normally $64.99 at Buy Buy Baby, but they had the price of the DUO on there by mistake...$49.99. Plus I had a 20% off coupon, plus a $5 credit. So I only paid $38 including tax! I think I got a great deal. I wanted the bubblegum pink one, but figured if I got black, DH could carry it!!!!! So that's what I went with.

THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO SUGGESTED IT...IT IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!!!!!!!! :cheer2:
