Best DHS QS?

Due to what we have going on one day, it looks like we will have to eat QS lunch at DHS. I try very much to avoid QS at this park, as I feel it has the worst options. Any advice? Any QS options you've loved?

Now I'm wondering if we have time to just squeeze in Sci Fi or something. That would be quick, right?

The commissary is actually pretty good overall so I'd give it a shot.

Fairfax Fare. I love it there. good choices. different from many other QS locations

We had a good experience at Backlot. Express in October.

I also hate all of the CS options at HS. I used to think ABC Commissary was the worst until I tried Fairfax Fare last fall. Just thinking about that meal initiates my gag reflex. I think you'd be better off at Backlot Express or Starring Roles. We usually try to avoid HS at mealtime and if we're there we USUALLY plan to eat TS at Mama Melrose or 50's Prime Time (not fans of Sci-Fi either). Sometimes we can't always plan for a TS meal and have to suck it up & eat CS there. It's always a dilemma on where to go.

Thanks for the tips! I think we're going to go with mama Melrose. I feel like we can get in and out of there on a Wednesday in under an hour. We've just really had no luck with the DHS QS...hopefully it gets better with the revamp!

AFAIC, Rosie's All-American has the best veggie burger on property. I feel comfortable assuming that their meat burgers are probably just as good.

The best QS in HS?

There are none. They are all at best subpar and at worst awful.

Fairfax Fair: subpar and is at least edible.
Starring Rolls: I guess if you like premade cold cut sandwiches and gas station sushi this place is the next best option after Fairfax Fair.

From there it gets worse with ABC Commissary being the worst QS I have experienced in WDW and among one of the worst restaurants I have ever experienced anywhere. This one is awful IMO. The only good thing about this place is it is air conditioned and a good place to cool off over a nice cold soda while I watch so many people throw away their uneaten meals in the garbage.

We've had great food at Starring Rolls and the burgers and hot dogs at Rosies and Min and Bills are fine as a quick lunch. We prefer to eat quick and light in the parks and we're not picky.

Agree though, I usually book sci fi and have an appetizer and a shake for not much more than a QS.

We really like Starring Rolls. The turkey and ham sandwiches are very good, they both come with your choice of fresh fruit or chips. Love the cupcakes, especially butterfinger and red velvet. They do run out of food early so best to eat there around 12ish or so. Wouldn't eat any other QS food in that park.

We had a good experience at Backlot. Express in October.

We also had a good experience at Backlot Express last month. The salads and burgers were good and hit the spot. I would also recommend 50's Prime Time and possibly sharing some plates for lunch.
