I plan on getting one sweet treat a day while I'm there, but I don't know where I should get them.

Day 1: MK, Master's Cupcake (might pick up Day 2's treat) Edit: BOG at breakfast, not that it matters.
Day 2: AK early-ish, HS in the afternoon/evening, dinner at Mama Melrose's
Day 3: 1900 Park Fare breakfast, Afternoon Tea
Day 4: EPCOT, planning Moroccan QS for lunch, Biergarten for dinner. Highly tempted by Artisan de Glace... And Kringli
Day 5: MK again

When I've gone before, I all but ignored MK and AK - I was more excited by HS and EPCOT (EPCOT EPCOT EPCOT). My favorite place at HS closed, though, so I have NO idea what desert options are like for my Day 2. I'm relatively familiar with EPCOT (though I haven't gone for 6 years) - that day it's is narrowing down options.

I lean towards picking up something at Main Street Bakery for the next day, and picking up something at EPCOT for day 5.

What are your favorite sweet treats in the parks? Any can't-miss options in AK or HS I'm missing? Favorites at EPCOT? Can't-miss places in MK?

At HS, Writers Stop was our fave for the carrot cake cookie... Since that closed they still sell it at Sweet Spells!

We love L'Artisan Des Glaces.. The mixed berry sorbet is so yummy & they have lots of flavors!

Gaston's Tavern in MK love the Cinnamon Roll, probably big enough to share ;)

So many great places and treats.. I have an ongoing list from what people suggest on here to try!! It will take me forever to try all the different sweets!!

At AK: Yak & Yeti's won ton dessert is incredible. This is a TS restaurant but maybe worth the time?

DIS Springs: Raglan Road's Ger's Bread Pudding is out of this world & huge. Again, a TS but worth the time.

Epcot: L'Artisan Des Glaces is absolutely worthwhile. Their seasonal macaron are perfect.
The cronuts at Refreshment Port (near Canada) are also a highlight of the park.

The ice cream cookie sandwiches are great along with cinnamon roll at gaston's. At MK you can get an ice cream sundae at the parlor or even Friar Tucks. Dole whips are good but there is a long line typically. I've never really gotten too many desserts at AK but the pretzels at the germany paviliion are really good

From my point of view, I *highly* recommend the thick chocolate chip cookie at any big bakery (Confectionery at MK or the corner store whatsitsname at Hollywood Studios). I also really liked the green tea cheesecake in the Japan Pavillion.

Hoping you might find this helpful, I had a few treats which I would NOT recommend:
1) The cinnamon roll at Gaston's tavern. Way too sickly and messy, it's like Cinnabon but a little worse in my opinion. Plus, you can get a cinammon roll anywhere.
2) The Tres Leches dessert at Epcot - most tastless thing I've eaten in any Disney park on the planet. I threw it away after 3 bites, I tried.
3) The ice cream brioche sandwich at L'artisan des glaces in Epcot. It really was dull for me, and the extra sauce they add on top is totally unnecessary and makes it way tooooo sweet to enjoy.

The Afternoon Tea has desserts included, so you may not feel the need for an extra treat that day.

I love the cronut in Epcot as well as the school bread in Norway, crepes in France, caramels in Germany. Lots to choose from there!

I'm always too hot to eat in AK.

I agree that the carrot cake cookie in HS is delicious. I also enjoyed the Darth Vader cupcake in Starring Rolls.

MK #1 treat is always a dole whip!

One of my favs is strawberry shortcake at Sunshine Seasons - Epcot

At AK - there's a bakery in Africa. They make a dessert that reminds me of "haystacks" - and while its not something I die for - it's something unusual I never get otherwise.

At RESORTS - I really like the carrot cake that come in a cup that you can pick-up in the food courts. I personally like this a lot better than that carrot cake cookie at HS everyone else seems to like, but hey, to each their own.

At MK - okay - on an MK day when I ride the monorai/take the ferry to the Polynesian - I get a Dole Whip. Can't stand the crowd at MK to get one - and it's a nice break over there.

I usually eat my dessert at TS - and some of those are fabulous - so I find most of the other stuff around available as CS just average.

I'm not much of a sweet eater but:

Always have tea at GF and yes, there are loads of sweets there. Must have an ice cream cone from France and grapefruit cake from Brown Derby at HS. Other than that, not much else.

Not sure if this counts the boardwalk has a new ice cream place called Ample Hills and it gets pretty rave reviews. (and I have not tried it yet, just looking forward to trying it). :) have a great trip!

I love the waffle with nutella, strawberries and blueberries at MK at sleepy hollow!!!
Also love a dole whip float while I'm at MK....
Carmel apple cut up in a bowl from Germany in Epcot
Didn't care for the carrot cake cookie at HS...
I liked the mango pie at Yak and Yeti better than the cream cheese won tons.....
All great choices for me!!!!!

Kusafari Bakery in Animal Kingdom has a Brownie Paw that is really good, but it is very sweet. You need milk with it.

Oh, and also at Kusafari a white chocolate elephant cupcake. It's huge and like getting two treats in one because it's a chocolate brownie vanilla frosting and german chocolate filling and also a big white chocolate elephant on top of the cupcake!

Ohana's bread pudding (can get at that bar there if not eating at Ohana).
Germany caramel place...salted caramel.
AK...dole whip with rum.
Spice Road Table...choc pyramid dessert and baklava dessert

At HS, I would recommend trying a cupcake from Starring Rolls (though it usually closes around 4, so I don't know if timing will work out).

I don't know if Afternoon Tea counts as your sweet treat, but if you're still at the Grand Floridian after 5:30, you should definitely try the Warm Chocolate and Banana torte that you can get from the Citricos bar or from Mizner's Lounge next door. It's perfect.

At Epcot, the best desserts are in France. I recommend either the salted caramel ice cream from L'Artisan or the pastry with strawberries and cream from the Boulangerie. Both are mouth-watering.

At MK, I'm partial to dole whip. Also, I prefer the strawberry cream cheese cupcake from BOG to the Master's.

Think the pastry with strawberries and cream would keep overnight? (Strawberries are my favorite.) Since we're staying at VGF, we may do Citricos our first night, because that torte sounds perfect (I was planning a nebulous "something at GF".) And yes, the afternoon tea will have my sweet for the day there. :) I'm doing the Master's Cupcake, not because it appeals the most, but because it's the only breakfast option for "the gray stuff."

Also, a dole whip is essential - I've heard too much. (Rum is tempting... But then I couldn't share it with DD. Pineapple has to be part of that girl's DNA.)

@TexasTSL - that white chocolate elephant cupcake sounds amazing!

@JonUK - thanks - the tres leches was on my short list, good to know I wouldn't miss out by skipping it. I was also not planning on a colossal cinnamon bun when I can make awesome cinnamon buns at home.

Thanks, all, for the input!

My absolute favorite dessert at WDW is the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake from Liberty Tree Tavern in MK. It's fantastic. It's only served at lunch, but I prefer the menu (and prices) at lunch there, anyway.

I agree with previous suggestions of cronut, macaron ice cream sandwich, school bread (all at Epcot).

At HS, my favorite sweet spot is Starring Rolls. Really good - and enormous - cupcakes, and they always have some kind of fruit turnover that I love.
