Best dessert to go with Pizza?

Any ideas? Im making homemade pizza and breadsticks tonight for company but Im at a loss for a dessert. Can you help?


Is there a wine to go with Pizza?

When we eat out at Buca we have their red house wine and a hunk of cheesecake for dessert.

What I don't get is why you'd want to have pizza AND breadsticks at the same time -- aren't they pretty much the same type of food -- dough??

You're kidding, right? Pizza and breadsticks always come together, at least around here.

I think that ice cream sundaes sound GREAT to end a pizza and breadsticks meal!

Pizza Hut does this, and I've never understood it. Eating breadsticks is like eating the end crust of the pizza, the part without the sauce. I'm not knocking it, I just don't get it -- sounds redundant to me.

We always get breadsticks with our pizza and yes its redundant lol but Im going to be having 7 kids here tonight under 8. Id just as soon have something they will all eat

My dd would eat her fill of breadsticks and they arent nearly as messy. Once in awhile I will actually let her too lol.

My vote would be for sugar free jello or fruit, something light. I'm not sure what your company would think about jello though.

Personally, rootbeer floats sound fabulous. Yum! I work at Fazolis, which is a fast food Italian place, and all we have for dessert is cheesecake and cookies. I wish we had ice cream there! Our breadsticks are much tastier than the crust of our pizza though...thank goodness because our pizza is gross.

Anyway, I vote for rootbeer floats! Good idea, Disneychrista!

But seriously, ice cream should be the choice, vanilla and chocolate. I very rarely drink wime, but Champagne goes with pizza quite nicely. I reccomend Great Western Extra Dry, not Brut, it is a great $12 drink anytime for me bottle.
