Please tell me what are some of your favorite dessert's that qualify as snack credits, also are any of them at AKL? That is where i will be staying

No doubt.....Zebra Domes at The Mara!

The Butterfinger cupcake from Starring Rolls in HS is very good if you have a sweet tooth.

my favorite cs snack is a dole whip at magic kingdom.....pineapple softserve icecream....i believe you can also get the float version which has pineapple juice and the softserve!!!!:cloud9:

I have a few, none of which are at AKL.

At MK, the dole whip is very good.
At DHS - starring rolls and their cupcakes. (these things are HUGE and so good. I recommend the peanut butter one, it has fudge in the middle)
At Epcot - Sunshine Seasons, the chocolate mousse cake and the strawberry shortcake. Both are little bits on heaven on earth.
At AK- there is a cupcake with a huge white chocolate elephant on it.

At CR the cafe has great cupcakes as well.
At POP Century - the ice cream sundae station. The sundaes are as big as your head...no kidding. Me and DH couldn't finish it (and DH can finish anything). Also the Tie Dye cheesecake. It is red velvet cake topped with cheesecake that is colored and swirled...very very good. But watch out for the colors staining your tongue!!

And then there is a good ol stand by I love....the chocolate covered rice krispie treat.

The bakery in Norway located in the World showcase has the Schoolhouse Bread which is yummy...they have other pastries as well. We each get a different one and split them between us. The MK bakery has some great options as well and you can get some things for breakfast using your snack credits.

My DD9 loves the lemonade slushy drinks...popcorn...water...itzakadoozies popsicles...mickey ice creams...soft serve ice cream cones (world showcase).

We have also been seen using snack points for......water!!!:lmao:

I second the bakery in Norway! Everything is yummy.:thumbsup2 Also the bakery in MK...excuse me, but I believe I ordered the LARGE cinnamon roll...!:lmao: Also the ice cream place at MK is great. One time Hubby got a turkey leg using a snack credit. Not a sweet treat, but a sweet deal. He was floored!:yay:

Carrot Cake cookie @ Writers Stop in DHS. It's LOVELY!

Giant cinnimon rolls @ Main Street Bakery!

I am also a fan of the lemonade slushies!!!

Anything at the Caramel KUCHE in Epcot but especially the apple caramel oatmeal cookie~! :cool1::cloud9::lovestruc:worship:

EPCOT: Pastry Shop in France (I like the napoleon and the Marvelous),

the hand twisted pretzel at Sommerfest in Germany (VERY different than the regular snack cart pretzels),

yes, the homemade caramel treats in Germany I agree

the sugared nuts at the carts around the park (like the ones that you get at fairs)

At AK:
Kusafari bakeri cupcakes the white elephant one has a white chocolate elephant pop on top like 2 treats in one. Also really like the brownie paw huge brownie.

Stand outside lion king has funnel cakes (funnel cakes in epcot aren't covered as a snack credit).

MK: Definitely the cinnamon rolls at the bakery on main street. Different from the ones that you find elsewhere.

DHS: Starring rolls...butterfinger cupcake. chocolate cake, fudge center white icing, chocolate shell, rolled in butterfinger.....bring a friend to share it.

Resorts:
Roaring Forks at Wilderness Lodge: magic cookie bars and they have the BEST soft serve ice cream ever. Real strawberries in the strawberry...real vanilla bean in the vanilla and real dutch cocoa in the chocolate. It is AMAZING.

Poly: make your own dole whip at captain cookes. i do the vanilla pineapple swirled and can pile about a pint on that lil cup. It takes practice. Best part is taking it out on the beach at the pool and watching wishes and watching the electrical water pageant at 9pm....hidden treasure.

We got a lot of practice trying that last time and got compliments for our dole whip serving skills - great use of a credit!

Is the sundae station new? I don't recall seeing (or eating) this before...

I missed it the first year of Free Dining. It's off to the side. In the morning they serve waffles from the food court side (not sure what is there during lunch/dinner) and on the other side is the sundae, milkshakes and other special cakes.

I've heard that they don't allow brownie sundae's as a dessert/snack credit. But you can still get a sundae with 3 scoops of ice cream and toppings.

I also like the apple blossoms with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert.

I know what counter you're referring to with the mickey waffles. I thought that used to be a coffee bar around the corner that sold pastries/bakery goods? I'll feel really dumb if it's been there forever....we've stayed at Pop three times and never noticed it! :magnify:

I saw on another thread that some people were able to get brownie sundaes. I guess it's worth a try.

I also like the apple blossom with vanilla ice cream as a dessert.

We finally tried the Writer's Stop in DHS last time and I really enjoyed the banana split (not made with ice cream)

Banana Split DHS-so Good!

I also tried the White Elephant cupcake at Kusafari in AK but thought it was just okay. It's supposed to have peanut butter but I'm not sure what the filling was?

White Elephant, turnover (very good-also served at POP and ??), and muffin. All SC'

Here are some other snack offerings at Kusafari

The sugared almonds and pecans! We get them at a booth in DTD and munch on them for a few days.

The sundaes at POP. So good and a good use of a SC.

Not pretty but tasty!
