Hi all, I did my first Disney race in Feb. 2013 as the Royal Family 5K. This time, I've been invited to go back for the half. Would you suggest BC, YC, or BW? I know the race starts & stops near Epcot, but bus transportation is still required to the corrals. I've only ever stayed Value, so I have no knowledge of Deluxe resorts. Beach Club has always been my dream resort, but I'm willing to go with your suggestions! The other ladies have no opinion where we stay, so I'm making suggestions! Thanks in advance for the advice. We'll be down there Friday-Monday. (Perhaps adding Thursday) 4 adult ladies, no children. Looking to spend most if the time at the resort relaxing. Will probably go to some parks, but it won't be the focus.

I think the Epcot resorts are a great choice for adults since you have easy access to the either Epcot or HS IF you choose to go. Also, the Boardwalk has restaurants and other places to keep you entertained. We are staying at the Yacht Club for Wine and Dine and the Polynesian for Marathon weekend. They all have their merits, but based on your summary of what you are looking for, check out the Epcot properties!

I did the Princess Half in 2009 and 2013. I've also done the January half and full a few times.
One year I stayed at BC and I loved it. I was able to easily walk back to the resort after the race. I also noted that you plan to spend time at your resort so this also makes sense. As for which one (BC, YC or BW), we have stayed at each and that is personal preference. We prefer BC or YC because we love the atmosphere and the pool.
This past race we stayed at BLT. That was really fun. I got to travel to and from the race on the monorail. Then we got to just walk over to the MK when we were all cleaned up. I would also do this again.
