What resorts are worth a special trip to see the decorations? I've been inspired by the Food Network show :cool1:

we're staying at VWL and will hit GF and AKL for dinners so will see those too. where else should we make a special trip to see decorations? thanks!

Take the boat over to Contemporary and see their decorations, then hop on the monorail and see Poly, and GF. Very nice.

Also if you can, take the monorail over to Epcot (when it is dark) you go right through the park (only on your way to Epcot not the return) and see those decorations.

Hop on over to Epcot resorts to see Boardwalk, and Beach and Yacht Clubs, very nice too.

What kind of deco does the Contemp have? Is it worth checking out? Thanks in advance!!!

Since you will be going to 2 of my choice, GF and WL, I would suggest the Poly and Boardwalk also. I'm sure the AKL will be really neat too. Regardless of decorations, these hotels are beautiful.

I've never been to impressed with CR decorations. The big Christmas tree is outside. Seems like it's decorated with oranges or something, and the lobby is ok.

Definitely the GF, tops on my list! We just got back from the S/D and the Dolphin had a huge tree (one of the largest out of all the resorts, IMHO) and a train, beautifully decorated. The Beach Club has a carousel made out of chocolate that is amazing. Have fun! :sunny:

Does anyone know how long the decorations in the park or the resorts are left up? We are there 1/1/06 to 1/7/06 - hoping to have the Christmas experience.

I believe until January 2, but I'm not 100% sure! Have fun! :goodvibes
